It should drain to 10.5v or lower.
Btw 11 to 12.6v speed is still fair if you are not the very sweaty type.
If you went further to run the fan directly to the battery, speed would be good.
How about the charging, won't it over charge it?

Stumbled on this power bank that Sako has. It uses a single 280ah LFP cells!
I have feeling the price will be dearth cheap. š

there are lower capacity s people label with higher values to rip others off. Something of circa 300-350w is re-labelled as 600w. Wicked world.
Reason I kinda stopped/slowed down selling of used s with original label. People will say ahn ahn, your price is too cost then go and buy relabelled at cheaper price.

The installer got a bad battery for me at first and told me that the product he wanted buying wasnāt in the market. I was very angry with him and asked him why he didnāt call me. I didnāt even use the first battery at all. I asked him to return it the next day. He said we should buy Sako buy that itās not the same price. I was already getting fed up with the whole stories. Out of trust, I involved my friend that is a PRO in the market and sent the balance for the Sako battery to him and asked him to help my installer before those guys will give him another nonsense battery because I was beginning to doubt the competence of my installer but I felt that involving this guy as a PRO/task force officer in Alaba, the distributor would respect himself and give my installer the correct thing. We have returned battery to Alaba more than 3 times since I decided to go on this journey. Itās been so much stress.
I have not called the PRO yet as I donāt know how best to handle this matter but Iāll definitely have to go to Alaba myself with the installer. He has been begging me that he didnāt know anything about what they planned because heās aware that I wanted to arrest him. My wife had been begging me not to arrest him yet that he might not be a party to the dirty plan really.
These Alaba guys are terrible. Currently having a bad time with one battery gotten from a supposed direct OEMs store at Alaba. To get quality product from there is almost always like Russian roulette.

After the first time that the battery was dying fast, I had to click on the buttons on the battery and saw 100ah. Didnāt know what it meant but I knew that the sticker said 200ah. I snapped it and sent to my installer and the vendor. They said it means nothing and that itās just the charging current but I just knew that the thing was dying fast while carrying my appliances. Itās actually possible that they did not send this to the factory and they kept me in the dark for 2 weeks.
Iāve been good to this guy. Why would he do this to me?
Iāve called him though and he said heās coming to my house tomorrow.
Keep police on standby and pick him up, this might be the last time you will see him o...

please what could be the issue, it just stopped charging now now immediately it went over 800w which it was not even supposed to do at the first place.
Check for these
-high CC temperature protection
-PV input over voltage shutdown
-BMS over voltage shutdown. Some batteries which don't have grade A cells are prone to this issue. As the cells get high delta voltages, one cell hits the max voltage while other cells are yet to get there and the BMS keeps tripping the battery off.

around 50+amps
I have noticed, in my own setup that once current enters the 50's with this controller, the controller gets very hot and enters into over temp shutdown. I have had to add an external cooling fan to help the situation.
Note, my setup is outside, so ambient temp gets quite high.

I didn't read your whole story, but your installed capacity is way above the CC recommended Watt for a 12V system. You can try 3 s in parallel and see what that maximum Total Watt would be, if it exceed say 700W then stick to 2 s
This is not how MPPT capacity sizing works... You can over your controller so long as you don't go over recommended voltage and amps.

no my battery didn't even charge at all today with all the sunlight.
I had about 700plus watts around 11am then it kept increasing and crossed 800w before the c. Disconnects and won't charge again.
Please who has experienced this.?
I think your voltage is above the maximum rated for your inverter voltage. Is your PV Voc above 80v?

What do you guys think of the Sumec Firman 5KW battery (grade A cells?) and inverter?
I know their generators are excellent (I have one), so I expect their batteries and inverters to be of the same or better quality.
Someone outside this forum said this battery gave the rated capacity when tested. And that the 3kw solar inverter did well too.

Good evening everyone.
Thank you all for the great information being shared here. It means a lot.
Please I need help. I believe most of us here either use inverter freezers or have an idea of it. I want to get either thermocool 219L or Scanfrost 230L inverter freezers but I donāt know which will serve me better. Any experience from here will be highly appreciated.
Thank you so muchšš¼
I use the 319L thermocool. It's awesome..... although I noticed one side thaws faster than the other if there is no power supply and I slightly feel the coldness from the body.

Please can you share a sketch of this connection with this or on how it works as an ATS?
It's a or with 2 normally open and 2 normally close connections. Grid goes to the coil, and also to the normally open or input. Inverter output goes to the normally closed input.
The normally open and normally closed outputs are interconnected and goes as the final output
How it works:
When there is power supply, the or energizes and closes the normally open s sending power out from NEPA.
Once Nepa goes off, or is de-activated and swings back to the normally closed position, sending power out from the inverter... I have a surge protector that helps with voltage fluctuations and also my stab has a delay timer that helps the overall function of the or.

Youāve made some solid points about investing in Naira, but I still think itās a bad idea for one major reason only : Nairaās devaluation .
Just Imagine you had ā¦10 million just two weeks ago when the exchange rate was ā¦1,530 to a dollar. Then suddenly, it drops to ā¦1,630. That 100-point jump means youāve effectively lost ā¦1 million, or 10% of your money, without even touching it ⦠just because the Naira got weaker.
Now, letās say that ā¦10 million is invested and generating a 20% annual return. Sounds good on paper right ?. But if the Naira loses 30-40% of its value that same year (which is very possible), your gains are completely wiped out. Youād be down let say ā¦3-4 million, so even with growth, your real value drops. And That completely defeats the purpose of investing.
You are correct o..bro convert that money to FX asap!!! Preserver value first before you think of what to do with your wealth.

Itās not just a relay bro, you need a 12v step down transformer or any other way to step down 220v to 12v
Some relays and ors accept direct grid voltage and work with it.
I recently rigged up one or to use at home (attached) as an ATS, and it works very well.

Lol, there seems to a war against Tubular here. I was a novice before I got it.
Will i get Tubular if I had the knowledge i had now? No
Do I recommend Tubular? Yes
Both tubular and lithium are good batteries. It just depends on what you want. I recommend both
You'll even get more usable capacity on Tubular than on Lithium but that's a conversation we don't want to have or we avoid having here
How does it handle many partial charging cycles?

Another reason is, Not everyone is Wealthy enough to afford quality Lithium batteries.
Also, the extra Money you make from Selling Used Tubular batteries, some people would even sell them, before they can add more funds to buy another.
What about Ruggedness ?
No matter how much people try, tubular and SLA / GEL batteries are going noWhere anyTime soon.
See eh, if you buy a quality used Tubular / SLA / GEL battery, you could even use it for over 5-more years sef.
No let dealers deceive you; Each battery technology have got their Strong & Weak points.
Oh men...this is archaic way of thinking o. I used to think that resale value was a good reason to use LA, but it's really penny wise pound foolish.
Case:
I bought 4 brand new LA batteries, at 150k per one. The plan was to use for at least 2years and resell so I can buy again. About 2 years down the line, the batteries are getting weak. To replace them now from same brand is around 1m. Even if I resell them as scrap at the best price, I'll still have to add around 600k to replace them.
E no pay laslas...I'm switching over to lithium gradually.
There are many affordable Lithium batteries on the market now.
