He and Finidi came at about the same time, na why we no too enjoy am for national team. TJ, Amunike were produced at young ages right here in 9ja and I think exposed by James Peters. I can't understand why we aren't producing such plethora of stars from the home front again besides just a few here and there we churn out.

We are not being sincere with our call ups and that's where the problem lies

What numbers ❓

Remove the highlights of the Turkish retirement league and tell.me his achievements in comparison to other top strikers.

This will tell you why not many clubs are willing to meet his huge wage demands.

Essentially he has had only one break out season in his entire career and that was when he won the scudetto with Napoli getting 27 league goals. Prior to that he was never scored more than 15 goals in a season, still very good but not world class pedigree in my opinion.

Bitter truth that yes men guys will not want to hear. Delap and Gyokeres has had 5years of consistent goal scoring season and Osimhen with just one season and another in a kebab league should be earning lesser or the same amount with them

Like seriously

What is Victor Osimhen looking for in Manchester United?

A club that's not in Europe?
His he so desperate to play in EPL

When at this point he should be among the top 5 nominee for Ballondor

Imagine all the exploit in Galatasaray... Nothing come out. And he still wants man United

1. He told you personally he wants Manchester United?
2. When has player started picking a club they wanted even when the club don't want them?

It seems sharing opportunities of extra sources of income to complement our salaries is not allowed here

Daga in the midfield at this Afcon would have made a world of difference.
His port situation that made him miss the Wafu B before his move to Molde was finalised cut him off from the team and his strong start to life at his new Norwegian club couldnt get them to release him.

He is missed and if this team picks the WC ticket, about 70-75% of the team needs to be dropped.

To the bolded, Doc. We know this thing will not happen

Only 2 possible prospects in the team #3 and #22, maybe the captain
Others are like secondary school players but generally in this group the standard of play is under average

Add the number 9.
The same team will be paraded for the world cup maybe plus 2/3 foreign pros

Seems there's controversy about Remo Stars victory yesterday on whether the ball crossed the goal line or not.

BascoVanVeli. can you put up the highlights of the Remo Stars Vs Niger Tornadoes match
There will always be one controversy here and there, Remo scored a goal that was said to offside which I think is a goal too

Kit 1 - hit I think, the neck region sucks maybe
Kit 2 - bland, miss

Morocco - Nigeria final
Oshoala to score the winning goal

Interactions with Northerners both on the internet and in real life. For a long time, they have felt underrepresented in the national teams and most of them are deeply pained about this. They feel Southerners and Christians are cheating them in this regard.

Now that a Northern Muslim is at the helm of the NFF, we can expect more "quota lists" in future.

You can do well to bring your conversation with your nothern friend here to confirm your assertion. Flamingo played just last week - who is at the helm of affairs at the NFF and we have how many nothern girls? The last flying Eagle had how many northern players and who is at the helms?

If only Daniel Daga and Bameyi are from the north we would have swore that they are northern this or that.

If Kayode Bankole the goalkeeper is from the north we would have said it's northern this or that.

The Big omission from the team is Onyeka and we have a player that can replace him, the replacement might not have the lungs but still we should be able get one over our opponent.

But here we are the team hasn't played we have started blaming the coach and pointing fingers. Haba

They will rather tell him that the coach is old enough to be his father. Therefore he should apologize to the coach.

CC:BascoVanVeli....pls na u dey monitoring anything home....abeg youth football don shift to North?and good that we are seeing academy players.

I 'think' it's about where the coach is coming from. You will see people complaining of Coach Olowokere teams consisting of more Yorubas too. Though coach Oyin Zubair is from Kwara, He spent some time in the North.

Are you Ilorin based man cuz I don dey follow Kwara United tey tey o.....from Water Corporation as a kid with my papa to Kwara Utility fc,later Kwara bomber then we are landlord in division two for years.

Facts we are not able to secure promotion until we bought Exide fc of Ibadan slot and changed the name to Kwara United to make it to division one and Kwara Star fc a private owned by Olusola Adekanola bought Kwara bomber place in division two......this led to fierce rivalry between Kwara United and Kwara Star, also we have NIPOST fc and Doyin babes owned by Chief Samuel Adedoyin. It was fun then watching NPFL in Kwara Mini stadium which was later remodeled by Bukola Saraki to modern main bowl stadium but now Rashidi Yekini Main bowl but the stadium is now George Agbazikah Innih stadium complex.

Kwara United had his best years between 1996 to early 2000s with CAF confederation cup participation and lost out to Zamalek....this team produced good players......the first eleven players are as follows

1.Yakubu Haruna.. Goalkeeper
2.Friday Ejedegba...RB
3.Monday Obaze....LB
4.Sani Abacha.........CB
5=Alphonsus Ezimoha...CB
6=Oluwole Johnson.......DM
7=Sunday Johnson.......RW
8.Tony Alegbe.......AM
9.Christian Okonkwo....CF
10.Seyi Olofinjana....CM
11.Gabriel Melkam...LW

We also have Victor Gbenebeche a solid Keeper,Tolagbe Alanamu,Olu Adewumi,Kazeem Ahmed,Saheed Adeyinka,Rabiu Antiga,Waheed Olagunju,Anayo Onyenekwe,later Lati Alanamu,Balance Inawole,Taofeek Babatunde,Eniola Aiyejuyomi

Yes I watched Kwara United and Heartland when I was in Ilorin.I gave it to Amunike, good performance from away team.....I received Heartland team along Saadu Alanamu road at Abdulrazaq junction GRA and led them to Rotana hotel.I had bit talk with Amunike who is a friend to my bro a FIFA licensed agent.

Do not worry we go connect bro.

I'm very satisfied with this answer... πŸ‘

I ed that match. The last 10 minutes was a classic...

I think that was where I developed a soft spot for Mr Chelle... they showed seidou kaita (was it himπŸ€”) at the vip box looking like he saw a ghost...

That afcon was the best I've watched.

First time of watching Afcon and you can't say a game is boring... Best ever for me too

Our African coaches in Europe, especially the high grade ones should come back home and open academies. Use their knowledge to raise stars that they will push to Europe. The marginalization over there is just crazy.

I hope Kolo Toure finds a way to succeed.

Amunike's sabotage is beyond what you just listed. If it is salary, I think it was after his U20 elimination he got paid for the U17 job.

I am talking of sabotaging a team to fail with no . We are talking about the U17 world cup, the players going to cold a cold region without winter coats. No footwears and traveling with slippers. They were like a joke to the Brazilian team.

Thank God with all their discriminatory sabotage we still won the trophy. Even to welcome them, problem.

Salary and friendly matches. grin grin

I know you read about Nigerian athlete washing their track suit, You must have heard what Sia1 went through during His last stint as olympic gaffer. All these has nothing to do with ethnicity. If its by ethnicity EA wont even get the job in the first place. Or are you saying the NFF that gave EA the job is not the one in charge when he was "sabotaged"?

Like I said earlier.... TheVeryGoodJoe sir.. We can do better than this.

Don't you think it's due to lack of organisation from the nff because numerous coaches have face this same issue. Siasia face this at u20 and even the Olympic, so bro it's not ethnic whatever but corruption or lackadaisical attitude of our football managers.

Simple and short
Tessyy1701: 8:41am On Jan 15

It is incompetence and corruption. It has manifested itself across all the NT teams.

Singling one out to say it's ethnicity is lazy and simplistic.

Such harsh decisions like not given kids, kids, winter coats or allowances when they are going to defend the pride of the Nation is beyond NFF clumsiness. That was pure evil.

Sorry, I don't see any other reason. If you find, let me know. I will welcome it.

And the only thing you can derive from that "harsh decision" is because the coach is from the south?
Sir Joe, We can do better than this
