Lol.. I don't know the agreement each government always have with fulanis in Nigeria.

Lol.. I have never seen a post where the president order for investigation of those killed by fulani herdsmen but they are always quick to act when it's the other way round.

They are killing terrorists in the North as we speak. The Nigeria military are killing them daily.

But you are right. Same outrage must be constant across all region.

Who is this one? If they are killing terrorist in the north, what about those causing havoc in the south here?

This act is bad and unfortunate!!!
But has any of the above been used in the past where today's victims were the victors?

The brutal killings of 16 innocent people, which happened in the Udune Efandion community in Uromi, Edo State, yesterday, 27th March 2025, are highly irresponsible and a clear case of jungle justice. The video has clearly shown human inhumanity to humans in Nigeria.

Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure citizens are protected and culprits are always brought to book without any form of selective justice. It is said that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

In addition, the protection of the lives and property of citizens is not a favour but the primary responsibility of government as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution Section 14 (2) (b). I also strongly advise security agencies to carefully analyse the video being circulated on the killings and identify the criminals, and arrest them. The following technologies and their applications are recommended:

1) Object Detection: Identifies specific objects, such as face, skin, clothing, or accessories, using computer vision. Colour, OpenCV, and PyTorch;

2) Facial Recognition Technology (FRT): Uses artificial intelligence (AI) to compare facial features in the video with that of the suspects. Convolutional Neural Networks and OpenFace are apt here; and

3) Deep Learning-based Video Analysis: Uses neural networks to analyse video content. Google Cloud Video Intelligence is relevant in this regard.

I believe the technologies, algorithms, and applications mentioned above can help the security agencies to identify the culprits involved in this brutality and those committed in the past and even the future.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family of the victims while praying to Allah to be merciful to them and bring absolute peace and stability in Nigeria. May Allah expose the perpetrators of this crime and all the perpetrators of the previous crimes committed in Nigeria and the world in general.

It's also important to use these crime detection technologies right above which have been available for some years now to deal with other heinous crimes such as those perpetrated by foreign Fulani herders and bandits who come in Illegally into Nigeria from other Sahelian West African countries to kill and maim indigenous Nigerian farmers and communities since the early 2000s in the far North of Nigeria.

Fulanis are a minority ethnic group who are NOT more than 25 million in the entire West African countries they claim to come from, way smaller than the indigenous Hausas and Yorubas for instance who number over 80 million each living in multiple West African countries and worldwide. Period.

Tinubu how many times have you given such orders to capture the fulani Herdsmen killers of the innocent farmers and citizens of this country? Tinubu what are the northern hunters looking for in Southern Nigeria forests? Are they no more big forests in the northern Nigeria? No bush animals in the northern forests again? Tinubu you really know what you're doing, but God will show you what he did to the people like you.You are nothing in the presence of God.You are hunters president now, keep it up

is Tinubu not a southern leader and doubles as the president, what has he done or said about the herdsmen killings in southwest?
I carpeted all Southern leaders including Tinubu, Obasanjo, Obi, Akpabio, Gej, Amaechi, Soludu, Ezekwezili, Natasha, Osinbajo, All Pastors, Ezes and Obas.
Tinubu is one voice and will not lead Nigeria forever. Holding one man, who is possibly a sellout, able while excusing others is what box the South in this currently corner.
Atiku has spoken from Adamawa, Kwakwanso from Kano, United Northern Governors forum have spoken in Unison. Pray tell, who spoke for Enugu? Any protest for the abducted and executed bishops?
Has any Southern leader lend his voice to the protest against the waves of insecurity in Ondo?

Edo bastards, they must be caught before we retaliate. Una think say nah una dirty cult fight Abi . Una don price una must pay

Do you know why this is a critical security issue?
The so-called 'retaliation' would be met with even more brutal response from the Edos. That's what every smart person is trying to curtail.

But the failure lies with the government. Such incidents would soon be replicated in various parts of the Country in no distant time as the government has proven to be unable to protect the lives and properties of law-abiding citizens; Nigerians will begin to act for themselves in respect to security matters.

Citizens also have to be aware of their environment. It's unwise to travel with weapons in present Nigeria where practically most parts of the Country suffer from insecurity, kidnappings and killings.

Na Southerners I blame for this.

I will tell you why. Killing itself is a bad thing that should be frown against.

—If a Fulani herdsmen terrorist commit murder, he do so in the dark, cowardly kill people, run away inside forest, and mix with other herdsmen. No one will know the face except the dead. Authorities will still manhunt them but it is more hard to nab them easily.

—If Southerners retaliate, they will call 25 camera man, do it on video, share it on social media. Then when government act, they start crying that no manhunt and bla bla bla. It’s very easy to nab someone I see on camera. Even if they all believe they are indeed kidnappers like they claimed, what is the brain behind recoding murdering people? Them think court go just tell them go or what?

How about Deborah that was killed at broad daylight? Was there a manhunt? At this point in time, there are some people I don't feel pity for if they fall victim. They are the fulani weapon carriers and the police, as well as politicians who put us in this mess. Ekweremadu can rot in jail for all I care.

Three days ago, two boys were murdered by a mob in Yobe because they were sons of a police officer; the officer who escaped was warned to return to wherever he came from the South. No statement from any of these funny people. No manhunt.

As for Southern leaders, I've always maintained most of them are just opportunists whose only priority is themselves. Many of them with even questionable characters and criminal records.

The government should buckle down on their primary responsibility of providing security to Nigerians, or else, frustrated Nigerians will replicate such incident in various parts of the Country. Such has never happened in Edo, but the menace of persistent kidnappings and killings in recent times has caused some agitation amongst the people. People will begin to react.

The bolded is exactly my cross with Southerners and the useless leadership!
How is it Atiku or Kwakwanso's fault that the South can't defend or speak for their own?
We're always quick to say Northerners don't value lives, yet the accidental death of a common scavenger down south can spark a bloody reprisal/riot in the North.
On the other hand, the killing of the Southern officer's Son, 3 Obas, Deborah, or Bishop all goes without a single southern Leader condemning, much less, calling for the perpetrators to be brought to book.
If Senator Natasha had put half of the strength she use to drag Senate President, into seeking justice for all these victims, will posterity not be kind to her?
Convert the energies and ingenuity Ibos and Yorubas used to drag themselves within and abroad into seeking justice for victims of herdsmen attack and see if there will not be a positive change.
Charity, we say, begins at home! When you can't love/ yourselves, then you have no right to seek respect from strangers?

As much as I condemn the gruesome killing in totality, I want to believe the killing is an indictment of Nigeria judicial systems that has shifted its attention from independence arm to be a political tool used by the executives.
If the killers of Deborah and others killed in the North had been sent to gulag, others would have desisted from doing same.

May GOD heal our land.
