^^ Historical background of this scripture claim it was written and targeted at folks who oppose the presence of supernatural validations but rather hold onto the limitations of knowledge that the human mind potends.

Logicboy, the 'fool' in that scripture could also mean Christians, muslims and yea everyone.

And this i say because the day any human go beyond questioning 'the things' not well understood, to completely doubting the existence of 'the things' would mean he/she is foolish.

While i may not hesitate to agree with your claims, I may however assume that you know that the same claims have its premise culled from the holy bible. Matthew 24:12 - 'because of the increase in wickedness, men's love for christ will wax cold'

My point: It is very obvious that the world in its entirety have been sunk in wickedness, and the church is no exemption from this virus. Infact recent happenings in the body of Christ are revealing more and more that Christianity may just be a stone throw from partial extinction. No thanks to the wolves we have as Shepherds in sheep's clothing. Though our consolation is that the bible said these things must happen, and when they do, we should not be taken by surprise.

My submission: Pro-atheist should not hail their seemingly folly as been responsible for the defects in earth's most revered faith, rather they should check the same book for the next happening after the decline in its sequence.

You are right that everyone is entitled to their own conviction but when folks use Scripture to justify their own habits especially when they accuse Jesus Christ of creating alcohol that could get celebrants drunk then they have crossed the line. It is my summation that Jesus did not teach or sanction the use of alcohol in any way or form.
