How in God's earth will you ask someone to pay 200k as charges for a house whose rent is 350k per year!!!!!!!!

House wey your father no build, just exploiting people who are looking for accomodation!

And there are the r_eta_rdzx who ask for registration fee, and take you to rubbish places for inspection.

Really, there needs to be government regulation to prevent this daylight robbery - and the landlords who connive with them - shame on y'all.

Those days you could walk to a house with vacant accomodation and negotiate with the landlord or caretaker directly, but now they want you to talk to agents wey Ohghun go keehl πŸ˜‘

Tips going forward:

Rather than spamming people's dm with unsolicited messages, save s and ask them to save yours. Share meaningful content on your status and occasionally put stuff related to whatever action you want people to take (buy something, somewhere).

If you want a place where you can send messages to interested people, create a channel and grow it one day at a time.

You guys keep having this conversation because y'all believe that a woman is doing you a favor when you go into a relationship with her.

Responsibility? It's a privilege to be given anything by someone you are in a relationship with - once you start feeling entitled to it, you're a leech.

Why do I have to worry about your needs unless you're equally broke, and by your logic, no sane guy should date a broke a**$$ girl either.

What you should say is that, if you're broke, focus on finding a way to leave that state of lack and improve yourself to be of value to yourself and your family - then you can have options to find a woman who will complement your growth, not open a tap on your finances.

There's an Audience for every type of content.... Just make sure you put out quality stuff and be patient, you'll soon gather enough following and be looking at monetization.

Note, this kind of path takes a lot of patience.

When you are submitting a bid/proposal for a contract, no matter the size/cost, there are some things you should have in mind.

Having the lowest bid means nothing if there's no trust or credibility behind your name.

When decision-makers can't find any trace of your business online, it raises immediate red flags. They start wondering: Are you legitimate? Do you actually have the experience you claim? Have you successfully completed similar projects before? Without digital proof points, your proposal becomes just words on paper.

Meanwhile, your competitors with professional websites, client testimonials, case studies, LinkedIn presence, and Google reviews are telling a compelling story about their capabilities. Even if they're 20-30% more expensive, the committee sees them as the safer choice. Risk mitigation often trumps cost savings in procurement decisions.

The committee are also covering themselves professionally. It's much easier to justify choosing a vendor with a solid online reputation than explaining why they went with a ghost company that saved money but had no verifiable track record.

Because we have politicians who are true and sincere with themselves and know where power is heading to.

Sometimes, you just have to face the reality!

No way Tinubu won’t rule till 2031. Contesting against him is ABSOLUTE waste of time.

That's the problem with your lots.

Idealogies and principles are not about winning. You didn't see Trump defect to the Democrats just because an endorsement from Obama could give him victory.

And the guts you have to tie the choice of the masses as being of no consequence because of the ambitions of one man.

Why do our politicians find it so easy to defect from one party to another, without even feeling any sense of responsibility to the people who put them there?

Could it be because these parties NEVER even have any party ideology or social identity?

Maybe they never really feel they are tied to a certain principle which defines their beliefs in how the people want to be governed?

There seems to be a paradox somewhere.... If votes count, parties won't matter. If parties were the main thing then does that mean our votes don't you know?

Imagine a Democrat defecting to Republican party after every major election and vice versa πŸ˜‘

Be honest how many month to master data analysis providing I have basic knowledge of python

Mastery of any skill is not measured in months my guy.

If you can commit yourself to 6months of learning the industry tools using a good roap/mentorship, you should be CONFIDENT enough to handle most entry level analysis tasks.

I am talking about people who refuse to limit themselves to minimum wage. You don't need to be a director to earn a measly ₦12m per annum. Your employer just needs to value you that much because you likely make them 10 times 12m per annum.

That so called "loss in value of our hallowed Naira" affects the farmers too, since all their input cost have gone up. And they'll recoup that cost by charging consumers more.

Solution? Perhaps tell your employer you are worth more than ₦70k. Though, with the high unemployment rate, your employer might just easily replace you with someone else.

By the way, the "loss in value of our hallowed Naira" is due to a reduction in productivity, but that's probably beyond the scope of those complaining about the price of yam.

You're saying different things, if it was about worth, you would have remained in Nigeria and earn the measly N12m na - you know how many worthy people are unemployed because there's no platform to actually provide the value that will pay them their worth?

What would be your annual salary of you were doing your current job(s) in Nigeria?

You don't use outliers to define a general population - how many companies in Nigeria can pay N1m salaries?
Stephen0mozzy: 1:26pm On May 21
budaatum:

To a Nigerian consumer, perhaps.

To the person planting the yam, 2k is not enough, considering cost of land, and fertilizer, and labour, and security, and storage, and transportation, and loan interest.

That's probably why some smarter farmers (the Ghanaians, since Nigerian yam is not available here much), export their yam where a small tuber costs Β£5.

Farmers don't care if you eat, is my point. They plant their crop for their own profit.

A Nigerian Consumer made the complaint about the price on a Nigerian Forum with Nigerians under the Nigerian Economy.

The complaint is not against the farmer, but that cost of this have so skyrocketed due to the loss in value of our hallowed Naira.

On a Nigerian pay of 12 million Naira per annum, which is a million a month and ₦250k a week and ₦50k a day, and ₦6250 and hour, I bet I can make it in 20 minutes in Nigeria.

Not everyone's in Nigeria or where I live is on minimum wage after all.

Fao :afonja007, ayindejimmy, amazingspiderma, Stephen0mozzy, etc.

12million naira per anuum? Abeg try dey lie with facts na. You're talking about the earnings of people at Director Level.

The people at Director Level salaries in Europe is gon be way above Β£300K.

Nigerian pay of 12 million per anuum keh.
Stephen0mozzy: 9:32am On May 21
budaatum:

I don't think they ask about pay per hour before selling you stuff in the market, or you'd just send a low earner to go get it for you cheaper.

And no, I was not comparing. Just stating a fact.

That's the point. To a Nigerian, 2k for a tuber of yam is not justifiable - to make that yam a complete meal, he'll need to spend 4k at least (unless he wants to use oil).

So unless the fact you wanted to state was that you leave in Europe, then 'stating' the cost in UK vs the cost in Nigeria is not factual.

How did you arrive at your ' 2k is the minimum pay per day for a minimum worker' ?
Some of you talk loosely here, without justification and verification.
I pay Labourers 5k here,for daily jobs.
Stop hate and bitterness towards the govt, just to placate them.

See someone whose talk has grip!
What percentage of the Nigerian population earn 5k daily?

How many people in Nigeria earn above #100k? Your self-aggrandizing claim would put your labourers at #150k per month. Talk sense

The minimum wages is #70,000. It's not 2k per day.

Stephen0mozzy: 9:23am On May 21
Don't play....

If you like, don't tap into existing tech products that you can use to boost your business!

Look for platforms that are doing great in marketing and pooling an audience that your own target audience tap into, then sign up! For non-app types, you can make partnership deals with influencers of groups where your target audience are, and offer the influencer a commission-on-sales deal.

There's ion of music, and there's business if music.

Music is a multi-faceted something..... You could have a good voice, but your lyrics suck, or you have great lyrical skills, but your voice sucks.....

.... this us where tou HUMBLY identify your strengths and weakness, then find a way to fix it, either by collaborating with people who excel at where you fall short, or you push someone else.

Apart from heavy promotion, when you hear good music, what are the elements that makes you want to play it on repeat? Integrate those elements into your own music.

Your beat can make or mar any song - very common in Nigeria, where the beat makers are the unsung heroes, because most singers just string bunch of garbage together and call it hit... Rawbish.... So unless you have enough money to promote rubbish, then you have to invest in beats and songwriters.

Peace.

While I have no doubt that a human is very capable of showing love to more than one other human - I am also without doubt, that humans have a natural animal instinct - territorialism - the fight to protect scarce resource.

Your use of the term "Christians" and the adultery of the man you have tagged "distant relationship" should not be used in the same sentence - you have not had sex - not physically you mean.

The wife's buying into a vision, makes it even more weird and can almost give a correct guess about her financial/education standing in the marriage - if she's not dependent on "Yes Sir" to all her husband's whims she no go gree - women protest against polygamy, not because they seek to monopolize the man's phallus, but because they want to secure their children's hold on his estate (time and wealth).

Unless you have money, and are really okay to accept whatever follows after "potentially", the by all means, you're a big girl - get married. But if your decision is borne out of pressure of age, or because he seems to be the only male trying to win you over, then I guess go play game and save yourself from whatever is pressuring you - trust your instincts and take responsibility.

So why does he think the Ugandans want to learn

The Nigerian should put more work to the wheels, perhaps with more advocacy, Nigerians "MIGHT" just learn.

My name is Charity and my moniker is BeginsAtHome...

All men have a degree of dignity, even though they may lack the courage to demand that their dignity not be overruled.

They want to learn, just as Nigerians need to learn - but learning is a responsibility, and action is bravery - we have exchanged those values for "sofar my own no spoil" and hiding our cowardice in ethnic bigotry and the likes rather than holding able those whose role were to be servants - now gods.

Mine began at home..... I hold myself and others able.

Same thing with Nigerians.

But then again seeing the "supposed" mother of all democracies being ridden roughshod by Trump since Jan 20 is an eye opener that makes me wonder if Trump cast a spell in Americans or they simply can not keep up with the pace at which Trump is desicrating their constitution daily mist times by flippant social media posts.

Trump is thinking of going for an illegal third term in 2028 and how American's are reg to fate with his shenanigans still dey baffle me.

But you don't see Trump's son gallivanting upandan the country threatening the Taxpayers who literally "feed him" - it is not that the leader is a bu$ff_on, but that their sons think that the political anointing conferred upon their father by the vote of the people also gives then same status - because, we have no systems to SHUT OFF NONSENSE
