Dont know if i can still include DeRozan and my gee, the one and only Slim Reaper...... wink wink

That list is incomplete without the Slim Reaper.

This is the most sweat I have seen on the faces of OKC players. That small lineup with Obi at 5 is causing heavy fatigue for the Thunder. Daigneault is subbing almost every 3-5 minutes because they can’t keep up.
Roland17(m): 3:37am
Rick Carlisle activated his stingy, stifling defense after game 2 loss. They are suffocating the Thunder, feeding them a portion of their own poison.
Roland17(m): 3:27am
Nembhard has to make All Defensive Team, 2nd team at worst! This man has been impossible!

The Thunder are struggling against the Pacers small line up with Obi.

I clicked on his post history and I noticed a pattern; most of his posts seem to be pro-India .

He probably has a connection with India and was not happy ur post seem to suggest Indian authorities may have been negligent and are to be blamed for the crash that he thinks is just accidental .

I did the same and understood some of his emotions. On this forum, I am very careful debating issues related to death.

Infact, when people post links I try to clarify the content. Death is such a sensitive topic and that is why I did not engage any further because I knew it would go south.

That's not the post he was responding to.

It was The flint who was talking about how someone said the plane had no functioning ACs and electronics, yet it was allowed to fly

It actually was. His original response questioning my addition of Maintenace and misconstruing developing country to 3rd world is attached.

Below is the original post u quoted

Roland said he’s not putting the cause of the crash past maintenance related rather than just hastily concluding the plane manufacturer is at fault . He says the fact that India is a developing country and not there yet like developed countries like America and the likes; there’s high chance there were lapses in the maintenance of the aircraft .

You are the one who introduced the vocabulary “ third world country “ into the discussion . You are the one that keep harping on the crash being as a result of India being a third world country .

The person u quoted just pointed it out that maintenance may be an issue as in the case for some developing countries .

Try calm down small

Baba, thank you so much. You see, for this new Seun NL, I Dey use sense debates before I chop ban.

I clearly indicated “may” and will not out rule it. I was trying to say we should be careful with piling on Boeing and ensure we are evaluating other factors which Maintenace is one.

How he interpreted developing country to mean 3rd world is his own understanding and agenda because 3rd world countries are not the same as developing nations.

Thank you once again.

Draisaitl calls game. Unbelievable. They were on the back foot all overtime

Series tied 2-2. This had been an unbelievable series.

Roland are you seeing this? Oilers from 3 goals down now up 4-3

Changed that basket of a goalie Skinner after the first intermission and Picard has pitched a shutout ever since. He really stood on his head that second period, 12 saves

If I'm the coach no way Skinner is starting again. This replacement gives them a better shot

The Oilers just conceded with seconds to finish the game. Another OT.

I beg to differ Sir on just your fact that Pacers are the best in the league. Pacers are very good but they are not the best in the league.

Infact I want to say smth that might sound outlandish but maybe not so much...

"If Pacers were to go through the West, I seriously doubt they would be reppin the West".

This has become a popular narrative used to discredit the East and teams that compete in it. The NBA is all about eras and right now the West is dominating, however, the East look prime to take over with some of its better teams. The East owned and dominated the NBA in the 80s, 90s and portions of the 2000s and that is how many teams in the West ended up with the Superstars that have helped the West hold sway.

Right now, with a healthy roster, match 1-5 in both conferences and tell me which conference would have the most wins in a 7 game series.

Cavs v Thunder
Boston v Rockets
Knicks v Lakers
Pacers v Nuggets
Bucks v Clippers

The Pacers will not rep the West but they are not only competing hard against the best team from the West but are up a game. You play what is in front of you and how the competition is designed. If it was by your narrative, the Thunder should be sweeping the Pacers.

I have seen the video, nothing to do with Pakistan and they wouldn't do such a thing to a civilian airplane unlike the African hero Gaddafi. The plane failed to achieve lift which means dual engine failure, most likely bird strike

Especially for a double engine failure.

It is why I am exercising caution in blaming Boeing until the investigation is complete and we have a report.

This year NBA final didn't carry the hype like some NBA finals. Maybe because both teams are "small market teams".

It is actually why and it isn't their fault. Both teams are the best in the league and they are showing it thus far with how they have matched up.

Both teams are also changing the narrative of stacking up superstars before you can win. They are going to reshape how rosters will be constructed in the coming seasons at least. There is going to be more focus on the intelligence of head coaches versus stacking up superstars.

Lol shakushaku excluded yet you choose Rafael Leao first grin grin grin grin grin grin

The only player I may rank ahead of Leao on that list is Nico and it is close or a tie, especially if the destination Bayern Munich.

Under Kompany, Bayern are aggressive with their attack. They press very high and rely on the creativity, flair and technique of their wingers to create/ score and that is where Leao thrives.

With a back 4 and midfield base of Kimmich/ Goretzka, Bayern's wingers/ front 4 rarely have defensive duties and that is perfect for Leao.

Leao is a bigger scoring threat than Nico if compared anyways.

I think I just found my Team. Indiana Pacers.

For a little context, this is my first ever NBA playoffs that I'm following bumper to bumper. I didn't follow regualar season but I've devoted more time to this series than the just concluded Uefa champions league. I also watch the TNT crew for follow up.

However, my first foray into basketball was in 2004. I watched San Antonio spurs and I know Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. (saw him for Argentina also at Athens Olympics) but I don't think I'm Spurs.

I also know Detroit Pistons ONLY because there's a particular guy in that team with a face mask, like Osimhen. I don't know his name, but I vividly him... Circa 2004 ish.

But I always Boston Celtics, partly because green is my favorite color and I have a Larry bird jersey 🤷, however, this series made me realize my love for them is not Organic.

Now to the Pacers. I first saw them against Giannis bucks, then I fell in love against the knicks(maybe because most don't give them a chance) I don't know. But when I watch them I feel it.

So that's it. Basically all my career in the NBA and I'm stanning the Pacers henceforth. Till thy kingdom come.

Funny enough, last week I bought a Pacers mural at the mall. Hanged it in my car.. Didn't plan to, just saw it and I knew I was a Pacers. wink

Thanks you guys.

I think you mean Richard "Rip" Hamilton. While considered a small market franchise, the Pacers have always been known to be blue-collar, tough playing guys. Hopefully, they welcome your fandom with a Championship this year.

Boeing was in the news for multiple incidents last year. To the point where a whistleblower mysteriously died.

It is the point where people in us dey avoid Boeing flight

As recent as February this year, an Airbus departing Houston caught fire as it tried to take off. A month earlier (January, 2025) an Airbus also caught fire in a similar scenario in Hong Kong.

Did you hear those? Now, imagine if those incidents were Boeing?

using bean counting to run engineering business

I am frequent flyer and can say I have a healthy experience with flying and planes.

Again, not saying Boeing doesn't have a history, however, this history (with a lot of sensationalism padded) has eroded our ability to ask questions rather than hasty generalization. Do you know the number of Airbus planes that have suffered mishaps during the same period? Boeing is the face of commercial airplanes in the world, so I can understand.

While I am sympathetic to the lives lost, I think I will wait for the black box report/ investigation. India is a developing country and like Nigeria, I will most definitely not putting it past maintenance. Na for Nigeria we see deaths from poor maintenance culture.

Piling on Boeing after a crash like this isn't right. I will wait for the investigation. Before today's crash, the 787-8 Dreamerliner had an immaculate safety and flight record. I believe this is it's first major loss, I stand corrected.

RIP to the dead

I went through S.eu.n's post history when I saw MorataFC posts about the word limit thing and when I didn't see any comment on the issue I dismissed it as normal NL chatter.

But I just experienced it now and all I can say is Omo! undecided grin

The good thing about this is that it means S.e.u.n is hard at work and trying to innovate and improve the forum. Make we see as e go pan out.

True

But isn't it time Boeing is blacklisted?

Since the crash of Ethiopian airlines till now, still the same brand taking lives.

If it was another country's brand, US would have made a lot of noise

Modified: One survivor recorded

Why should Boeing be blacklisted? It has become natural and easy to blame the manufacturer (Boeing) but have failed to evaluate other critical factors like maintenance, age of the plane, sabotage, weather, pilot error, etc.

The Panthers just bullied the Oilers tonight physically. The Oilers can’t match the physicality and even when it turns into a scrum, they can’t stay up. The Panthers keep targeting McDavid with hard hits and it is just draining the emotions of the entire Oilers.

Like the GOAT said, the rink in Florida isn’t the same as the rink in Canada because of the heat and humidity. The skating isn’t smooth in Florida, the puck bounces more than normal and this affects the finesse with which the Oilers love to play.

They have to steal game 4 or this is over.

If it shocks you it means it's strange.

But I don't see why we complained that Wenger missed Ronaldo at 17, Messi at 17, Ibrahimovic at 17, but still complain about Bertha getting a 17 year old who could be the next Ronaldo or Messi or Ibrahimovic

Just stop it already.

You think you are half smart, confirm who you are engaging before trying to outsmart yourself.

You may want to engage someone else when it comes to certain things.

Una dey here dey wail, baba wan carry 45M go buy 17 year old Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk. Dem say na mini-Odegaard

The worst part is that if the deal goes through, we will send him back to Genk for the entirety of next season because he is 17 and from overseas.

But! Owners are not backing him!

But!! He is not getting the players he wants.

Yes, same Gabu.

Bar his injury just like you said, he would have been among the top 3.

He was getting a lot of shout out earlier in the season though.

I must also confess, Kiwior stood up quite nice for him.

Oh yes! Kiwior was showing flashes in cup games but I never expected this level of competence.

He looked the part against strong opponents. I hope he continues with this form. It offers depth in that CB position going into next season.
