It really shows this writer is ignorant of the law or how things work in a government setting.
For the fact that a was set up by the then government and found them guilty irrespective of how true that was, it would have been gazetted in a government document but the state pardon will nullify any such existing crime they were wrongly accused of.
So, granting a state pardon is In line in order to erase any wrongdoing attributed to them by the then government.

What kind of report is this from a so called national daily newspaper?
Just rush to write wuruwuru to the answer to discredit the event.
It’s not an event held after Eid il Fitr and not even post Ramadan.
Get your facts right!

A lot of Nigerians in diaspora can make a lot of positive impacts on our economy by taking advantage of opportunities in the agricultural sector.
This will in turn create a lot jobs, feed a lot of Nigerians and eventually make a lot of money from the agribusiness.
With the advancement in technology, agriculture businesses can be well monitored from afar despite not being physically present.
A well qualified and trustworthy capable hands should also be employed to manage the agricultural business.
Nigeria can over the time become a feeding nation to all other African countries and overseas and boost our economy to an enviable level.

Country hard, Country hard, yet Nigerians invested trillions of Naira in CBex and co.
If that money was invested on Nigeria or was used to buy a shares in Dangote or NNPC or even SUKUK for the federal road constructions, our economy would have improved to some extent.

President Trump offers to pay out of pocket the two astronauts that he just helped got back after being stuck for almost 286 days in space.
Most ridiculous about this is meager pay astronauts get.
5 dollars per day is what they get per meal. Not even overtime they get.

Politics sometimes can take away your expertise and knowledge as a professor.
Why comparing the two situations in the first instance?
Was Obasa issue a deadly one unlike the boiling situation in Rivers State that was already getting to explode including taking lives and destruction of properties that will affect the economy of the state and the nation at large?

There are indications showing that the efforts being put in place by the present government in order to improve the situation of the economy is gradually making positive changes.
We only want our people engaging in buying and selling to be more patriotic and sincere in bringing down the prices of their goods and services by reflecting the economic growth.
We appreciate those who have been reducing the prices to reflect the current economic growth as the final consumers feel the ease.
Hopefully our other market people will reflect the new prices as soon as possible.
The picture attached was taken from ShopRite showing the reduction in the price.

A lot of people don’t know that Gov Fubara is the greatest beneficiary of the state of emergency declared by the president. The state assembly would have found their way in impeaching him.

The next beneficiaries are the people of Rivers State. Since the declaration of the emergency, every tension has been brought down to zero unlike before the declaration where the tension was so high.
