I've said for a while now that Reform is the real fox to watch, the Kemi obsession was just a red herring.

Farage is now playing Labour and influencing their policy decisions in the same way he manipulated Cameron & co and engineered the Brexit vote, and eventually Brexit.

Like Blair said recently - ignore populists at your peril. Populists don't create a grievance, they exploit grievances (of the silent majority).

Yes, about banning burqas.

I find it incredibly telling that that was what she chose as her FIRST ever question to ask in parliament. Shows clearly what her priorities (and that of the party (-minus Zia obvs)) are. Not the economy, not anything more important, instead she chose to ask if the PM would ban the burqa on security grounds as if burqas are a major factor in any of the security issues the country is facing.

I've said it before that all those doing "I Reform even though I'm a 'X'" will later find their square roots, as the core ideology driving the party reveals itself, same as all the "'Ys' for Trump" people are finding theirs, albeit too late in their case.

Well..she went for the most important thing in her mind, she is not stupid , she knew that such comment was going to make headlines , what I found surprising is these ethnic minorities who ed political parties like Reform and republicans just to prove that they are not racist . Zia Must have known Farage history and some of the stuff some Reform said during election campaign but he still ed in with his two legs.

If you go on Twitter, you will already see comments like a non-native British person must never be the chairman of our party grin Their mission is always very clear and direct, but it's those who are not like them who always misinterpret their mission instead.

They would eventually ban face coverings..... The French and Swiss, already banned face coverings. This ban would eventually sweep through Europe.......

One more terrorist attack in the UK and watch them implement the ban, or whatever party in power would be kicked out.....

Not necessarily. The fallout when Rupert Lowe was kicked out of the party appeared very damaging, especially as he had/has a lot of amongst most Reform , but Reform still went on to win the Runcorn by-election and hundreds of council seats.

If they find a "competent" replacement and professionallise, they'll probably be fine. On the radio yesterday, Reform callers said they either didn't know who Zia was, or didn't care that he'd left as they were ultimately voting for Nigel lol

Apparently she crowd sourced for her first PMQ and that's the question that came up the most ๐Ÿ˜‚

The reality is that as an ethnic minority, it's impossible to find a "perfect" party.

Ask Hamza Yousef who was pushed out had to resign from the ultra liberal SNP.

Let's not forget Vaughan Gething who suffered a similar fate with Welsh Labour.

the furore when Boris Johnson openly mocked the burqa saying that it made women look like "bank robbers" and "letter boxes"? He still went on to win a large majority in the 2019 GE and his cabinet and the party was filled with ethnic minorities including Muslims.

As recently as yesterday, Labour has been accused (again) of institutional Islamophobia. Despite Labour's progressive image, twoโ€‘thirds of Muslim Labour MPs, councillors and mayors say that they are not treated equally and some have reported death threats and allege that they have been asked by Labour if they are terrorists.
In previous years, anti-Semitism was the discrimination du jour in the Labour Party.

It's impossible to claim that every Reform voter knows who Zia is (by name at least). It's like saying that everyone who voted Labour can name or recognise all the cabinet .

Ultimately they're voting for Farage, same way most people who voted Conservatives in 2019 voted for Boris. Everyone else is expendable in their view.

Zia was a leader in the party and there was great publicity when he assumed the position with his huge financial donation too. Letโ€™s not pretend about that here. The same voters are even blaming farage for giving him the position based on his financial donation. He was used to douse the narrative that reform is about race but now they seem pretty comfortable they are done with him.

So we can clearly see a pattern..... My next question would be, those wearing face coverings in the UK, do they ever visit the countries on the banned list..... The answer would be NO..... ๐Ÿ˜

To Reform voters, everyone is expendable except Farage. Zia and Lowe fell out and Lowe was kicked out of the party. The party went on regardless.
