They want to waste taxpayers money to commission 4 to 5%-complete projects, and then add to their two-years-in-office achievement. Terrible!
Sorry for your Loss . Your lamentations continues

They there make pant they wear you. Even Fubara wey get case sef don go meet oga patapata. Adeleke who is seen as the arrowhead for PDP concerning this Fubara issue has gone to see oga patapata, you are still there blowing grammar grin grin grin

Oga the case is not between Fubara vs Tinubu. The case was filed by some PDP Governors. All what they want is for the Supreme court to interpret the constitutional provisions that empowers the President on the declaration of State of Emergency and the Right to Remove an elected Governor/State Parliamentarians. This is a constitutional matter and not a criminal or civil case.

A certain party could not commission up to such a number of projects in 16years. But this is just 17 projects completed in two years just in FCT only. Other projects are spread across the country. This light has come to stay forever. God bless Nigeria.

Help me to itemize the categories this projects fall in: new hospitals, transit systems, highways, Housing, sports venues and recreations, and schools.

You can always spot people who don't stay in Abuja. It will take a very long time to match the development in Abuja between 99-2015. A lot of these projects are road extensions and not new roads.

Poof!

Let me answer you.
1. The ICC has always existed; it was only renovated
2. Gishiri interchange just connects to already developed places.
So in the past they said they did Guzape road as they scooped out a portion and tarred again, same thing at Maitama, now these areas that have had roads for the longest. Gizape had roads even before houses moved there. They did the extensions at Goodluck Jonathan way and said they built it.
What are the other 15 projects?
For sure there are projects going on in Abuja but most of them are completion, at least in the city center, the suburbs are not so lucky.

sslcrypt: 11:52pm On Jun 04
The Federal roads need more focus in my opinion.... Abuja isn't a financial or commercial hub.... Majority of residents who work live in the outskirts making some of the roads questionable... Assuming we have a Large Labor force spread across the entirety of Abuja from center to satellite towns then the roads will help
able20(m): 12:02am On Jun 05
hahaha haha!!!?? Tinubu and Umahi claimed that they completed 30km of the Coastal road.
They also tested the road by driving on it in their Dreams

You conveniently left out the 8 years of Buhari. His FCT minister couldn't do a fraction of what Wike has done but it's all good. We must commend the good works of the government but dont leave out the 8 years under Buhari APC ehn...you cannot just erase those years and jump from 16 years of PDP to 2 years of BAT APC

How many of them are 4% projects
whether 4% or 0.0004%, what matters is if it impacts people. The 4% argument may make sense, if the 30km road is not going to serve people until everything is completed. In actual fact, someone else might decide in the future to extend the 750km road to 1500km and connect from Calabar to the core North.

The road is now put to use. If a road that will take you 20 mins drive at continous 100km/hr speed is giving you so much sadness, then check yourself. Imagine the development that will be fast tracked along the communities by virtue of the road. Can you?

Please, don't even go there sir, you will shake the table. grin
This APC istration is truly lucky to have a person like Wike help cover their flaws here in the FCT. , APC (Buhari and Tinubu combined) till date has never won a presidential election here in Abuja, not even within the polling units around the State house or Villa. This may not change in 2027 unless President Tinubu does more in other sectors of the economy, beyond what the minister is currently doing here in Abuja.

Thumbs up to this istration 👍 though for these tangible improvements, because Buhari and his then FCT minister, Mohammed Musa Bello, were total failures for eight precious years. One of the very few notable roads in Abuja commissioned by them just in 2023 (less than 3 years ago), before the general elections, from Naf Valley area in Asokoro to Check point in Nyanya, is constantly being scrapped and patched up around several failed portions of the less than 5.5 kilometer road, leading to countless accidents so far. Not like any other party is better, but nobody should hype APC here in Abuja yet, where enlightened folks see beyond all these cosmetic stuff.
Just wait until you hear the staggering bills (in multi billions), that has been set aside for, and the actual amount gulped by these 17 'landmark projects', that is making Wike so elated and thanking Mr Tinubu this much. grin
Nonetheless, thumps up to this istration, they really deserve some accolades 👏.

Tinubu and his appointees are doing very well in so many aspects of leadership. Wike is a superstar. Umahi has been amazing and Tunji-Ojo absolutely revolutionary as Minister of interior.

It shows you how wicked and anti-progress some Nigerians are when they can queue behind Bala Mohammed, a failure as FCT Minister, and Aregbesola, a terrible Minister of interior who caused Nigerians a lot of pain, misery and tears, merely because both are now enemies of the PBAT government.

Important to give credit to whom it is due in life. Also desirable for normal human beings to love progress and those who deilver such. Only sadists reject the above.

I get your point but fact is that any Nigerian who is truly politically sophisticated, and can do reality to gain solutions in life, would have moved beyond the PDP, APC, Labour etal thing ages ago.

The reality is that our national politics is nowhere near as mature as it needs to be and our political Parties in Nigeria have no institutional integrity. They are just platforms for many to use attaining political office.

The likes of Obi and Atiku, and they are in the majority, have proven the point that politicians in Nigeria, unlike what obtains elsewhere, use political Parties like Bolt and Uber to get them where they are going.

They do not even know the core ideology of the Parties they like olosho changing brothel only cares about the money-making potentials of a joknt and nothing else.

They mock a Party today and described it the problem of Nigeria, as Obi did to PDP while in APGA and Atiku claimed of PDP while in APC, to then same political Parties tomorrow as we have seen Obi and Atiku do.

Wise, Pragmatic and critical thinking Nigerians will have realised by now that the only way to inspect political leaders is to look at their record of leadership and not Parties they are of or anything else.

In that regard we can see that this fundamental approach is always borne out by the performance of leaders in office.

For example, we have always known Tinubu's capacity for identifying and working with performer. We also know he is a brave and resolute leader.

We are seeing proof of both and much more today. It is not Rocket Science.

What is the Supreme Court of Nigeria Afraid of exactly?

As of June 4, 2025, the supreme court of Nigeria has not yet scheduled a hearing date for the case filed by 11 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors challenging the federal government's declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State. The case, ed as SC/CV/329/2025, was expected to be addressed after the court's Easter recess, which concluded at the end of April.

The lawsuit contests President Bola Tinubu's March 18 declaration of emergency rule in Rivers State, which involved suspending Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu, and all of the State House of Assembly for six months. Retired Vice iral Ibok-Ete Ibas was appointed as the Sole during this period. The PDP governors argue that these actions exceed the President's constitutional powers and undermine democratic federalism.

Despite the urgency of the matter, the supreme court has yet to fix a hearing date, leading to criticism from civil rights groups like the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), which accuses the court of stalling proceedings on this critical constitutional issue.

Why are derailing the topic? Is it your resentment or the fact that your presidential candidate lost the election?

While I applaud infrastructure development, I think they should do more in citizens welfare and living standards.
The pregnant woman in the rural area who has no clinic to deliver won't know about all these Mabushi and Gashiri. Do you know there are certain communities —even in Rivers State, that has never experienced electricity from inceptiontill date?

I don't know if it's deliberate ignorance or they really don't know, no one is talking about pipe borne water. I believe all these roads built has no provision for pipe-borne water.
If I am elected tomorrow into office, I will be faced with tearing up roads to lay pipes, that will affect its structural integrity.

It is okay to APC, you have that right. But looking at the resources at Nigeria's disposal, is the projects carried out now commensurate with the money in this country? Are we not living like malnourished children of a well-to-do Father?
I will leave that to you.
