Why not take 5 naira from the 50 naira they are taking from transfer charges. When you put the 5 naira on the fuel price, you assume every one buying fuel or diesel is a vehicle owner. The woman buying a few litres for her grinding machine has to bring out 5 naira more .... Tax nor go kill una 1 Like |

Sibrah: Okay, enjoy the loans then. Na the result of not taxing 70% of the population. And calling me oppressor does not change the fact. And by the way, I am not defending any government. Just stating facts. Facts is hard. Grow up, too. |

@Sibrah ![]() And you wonder why I regard this government as being not serious. Oga Sibrah, you are here to campaign for PDP and LP. You are addressing the wrong person. APC, PDP and LP are the same party. All of them are useless to me. You don;t get my point, and I won't bother explaining it to you. Good afternoon. Try to be more polite, son. |

By my calculations, I'm projecting an inflow of N903 billion based on this move. NGN 0.903 trn can be self sustaining if well managed. When you take away the NGN 800 bn require expense, the rest can go into other developmental things like better, streamlined system of planning, expansion, upgrades and multi-mode connectivity and indigenous research and development, standardization and implementation, and of course welfare. |

nairalanda1:Was there no road tax after toll gate was demolished by obj?? Who ed for the road tax added to fuel cost then Now toll gate is back, and still want to charge a separate fee for using the road despite the toll. Isn't this double taxation?? |

SarkinYarki: Are you projecting a higher value? Personally I think the 800bn may have been inflated but I can't prove it although I know for a fact that all the raw materials needed for road construction we have it naturally occurring in sufficient quantities. Coal tar, bitumen, asphalt, laterite, crushed rocks and limestone. I would like to believe calculations are objective, totally removed from the behaviour of the Nigerian government towards management of funds. Just an estimation except they have a way to differentiate when fuel is sold is for anything other than road use. What's your take? |
