mrvitalis:/ He lost it when he started terrorizing his own people. Who is he fighting for then? His reign of terror never extended beyond SE states kidnapping, extorting, maiming and killing his Igbo brothers and sisters. What manner of freedom fighting is that? / 4 Likes |

koladata:My brother, please do. Read more about our history, not to spread hate and bitterness but to be able to judge without being biased. I don’t know why they struck out history from our children’s curriculum. I’m not being hateful but you see those people who are now claiming to be victims today, they are the reason why we are where we are today. The first-ever bloodshed (Coup d’ etat) was planned and executed by a group of IGBO soldiers and the northerners and the west only acted in retaliation. When Awolowo was the premier of the old western region (Yoruba land) he planned to chip something called the secession clause into our constitution. That clause was to make it easy for any region that wanted to leave the union (Nigeria) be able to do so with ease but guess who fought him to death and made sure that the clause didn’t see the light of the day? Yes, you are right, it was an Igbo man called Nnamdi Azikiwe. Instead of looking after his own people in the East by acting as their leader like his mates (Awolowo and Amadu Bello) were doing in the WEST and North respectively, Azikiwe was busy tussling with Awo for political power in his own land (Yoruba land) Also do you know why this man called Azikiwe was doing all that? He wanted to become President over a united Nigeria and yes, as fate would have it, they made him president but with zero power😂 The north had been politically smarter since the time of Jacob 😂 He was made the president but the prime Minister (Balewa) was more recognized and powerful. Fast forward to years later, a group of young Igbo soldiers decided to kill every leader in the Balewa’s govt in what happened to be this first-ever bloodshed in the history of Nigeria. Finally, while they were doing all these killings, Azikiwe who was the President and one of the people targeted to be killed just “miraculously” escaped😂 So they killed every influential Yoruba and Fulani leaders while sparing the lives of their own people who were in the government. This move was what made soldiers from those affected regions to see it as an “Igbo coup” and it’s what prompted them to act in retaliation. Kaduna (an Igbo man who masterminded the killing of the premier of the north, sir Amadu Bello) was a man born and bred in the North. The Hausas loved and trusted him that he knew the private sleeping place of the premier and they even named him kaduna. The interesting part was that after the coup, these Igbo soldiers installed another Igbo man (Ironsi) to be the head of government and HE IMMEDIATELY COLLAPSED THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT SYSTEM BEING PRACTICED THEN. He did that so that the resources (Cocoa, rubber, gum, millets, cows, bitumen, coal and etc) from all regions would be controlled by the center (him, the head of State) 😂 Do you now see why the North will never give power to an Igbo man ever again? They will never open their eyes and watch Igbo men occupy sensitive positions in the military and in power and can you blame them? No, naturally as humans, once bitten, we become 20 times more paranoid As fate would have it, today, their children (the Igbos) now want out of the unholy matrimony (One-Nigeria) that was made possible by their fathers (Azikiwe and Ironsi) They now want Nigeria to go back to that regional government that was abolished by Ironsi so they can start controlling their own resources by themselves 😂 They now want to have the Biafra whose age would have been made easier should that Awolowo’s secession clause succeed and assuming Azikiwe didn’t oppose it. Do you now see why they are not to be pitied? Again, this is not to foster hatred but to tell ourselves the truth. They deserve the treatment they are getting from the one-Nigeria brought upon us by their father, Nnamdi Azikiwe. 2 Likes |

ManOfSon: Lol.. You know nothing about international politics. The trial in Finland is a checkmate to the one in Nigeria. Or you thought these things are mere coincidences? Let's see if nija will jail kanu for just ranting while Finland frees ekpa for also ranting as a content creator |

The mere fact that he looks scared is enough. Meanwhile, ranting or whatever else you call it, comes with legal consequences. You don't just rant for ranting sake or because you have a platform. You must defend every rant [on legal grounds] when called upon to do so. Broveens42: |

chiagozien: Why didn't they decide the outcomes of the Otti's election in Abia or that of Roschas' first term in Imo? The reason why the SE is in such a mess is the fact that we have allowed Ariaria otellectuals that were supposed to remain in their businesses to interfere in making governance decisions while being puppeteers of a cancerous movement like IPOB. |
