Government need to ensure the money is collected and returned to the traders who did not commit any crime. The ones who did should be closed down. NAFDAC has no business collecting fines. They can issue it, but collecting it? Absolutely not. Whoever instituted and collected the fine should be sacked.

If tinubu did not sack Oloyede, why would he sack mojisola?
Why?
Yes, because they are yorubads.

Criminals stop the extortion. So the entire 5,000 shops are guilty of selling uned drugs? The entire 5,000 shops don't meet storage standards? But the initial allegations were that of sales of fake drugs by nafdac. Does this store reopening fines now stand as an approval for the resumption of the sales of the so called uned drugs with the poor storage facilities? Nafdac una be thief jooor

Issokay... We never expected you people to own up or it to it.

Even a Police officer caught demanding and collecting bribe will also claim to be fining the drivers.

Govt must look into this.

I am really embarrassed by what Nafdac has become. If truly the 700,000 naira payment is fine for storing drugs under poor conditions, the question then is:Do those who have paid and been allowed to open their shops now store drugs properly? Or are they permitted to store drugs anyhow as long as they pay Nafdac? May all the work Dora Akunyili and her team did not be in vain.

500 +200=700 why the long explanation. I'm surprised it's actually true they demanded this payment. So over 70 billion will be made, yet the issue of fake drugs is not tackled.
The president should put eye on ground, and pend this 2027 election thing

so why will the merchant of death case be different?

Go and check the Gazette first to avoid wrong contribution. What we should be talking now is whether all those who were made to pay the money are guilty of keeping and selling prohibited drugs or substandard drugs, secondly the NAFDAC should be open on how many people have made these payments.

And they never showed us any serious video of where they were destroying the socalled "uned drugs"..
that NAFDAC stated that they carted away MORE than a TRILLION NAIRA worth of medicines from that market. In the wee hours of the night. The whole operation looked like midnight robbery!

These NAFDAC guys intentionally ruined people's lives for nothing. Market closed since February. They took these quality imported drugs and basically resold them and made hundreds of billions. Then came back and started taxing the poor sellers again. Meanwhile an inebruated Soludo is there dancing like a drunkard with Tinubu?

Good one from NAFDAC. I think VDM really wanted NAFDAC to perpetually close these shops. If they have to charge them court according to VDM, a lot of Anambra business men will go to jail for it.
