Are Most Christians Going To Hell? (276 Views)

Hi there, I was going to ask this in the Christian section to hear what other professing Christians have to say. The question is, are most Christians going to hell? You may wonder why one would ask such a question, but it's not a strange thing to do for valid reasons, one of which is the divination that is evident in Christianity and the views that appear antithetical, even at the core. The common belief is that people who believe in Jesus are Christians, but some qualify the profession by including “true” to the course. Therefore, not only does one have to believe in Jesus in general, but they also have to follow Christ by keeping specific commandments. I guess the point is about claiming to be what you're not if you can't show that you're that. But who is to say? Back to my question, are most Christians going to hell? If yes, why? If no, why not? Meanwhile, here is a recommended discussion for those who are interested: Why Most Christians are going to hell. Let's hear your thoughts. |

Christians will not go to hell. Christianity is not by name or denomination. Not even a title. Going to church does not qualify You to be called a Christian. You can even be called pastor, prophet, evangelist etc and yet not a Christian. A Christian is a person who has repented of his sin, accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior and then follow Jesus without going back to sin.

duro4chang: Right, right. Meanwhile, do you mind elaborating on what you mean by “without going back to sin?” Thanks. |

GosTic:What I mean is that all those sins you have forsaken, don't go back to them. Stop committing sin. Anything God hates should be hated by you. |

All dead are in Hell (Grave)

duro4chang: Thanks for your response. Is it therefore your position that anyone who claims to believe and follow Jesus Christ but commits sin afterwards is not a Christian? 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: I see. Actually, I was referring to Hell (Lake of fire). |
MaxInDHouse(m): 6:14am On May 19 |
GosTic:Lake of fire means complete destruction. God never has such a thing in mind to torment living beings in fire. Jeremiah 7:31 Jesus used an illustration regarding the valley behind Jerusalem where refuse is trashed as well as dead animals and dead criminals because Jews don't bury criminals as they believe such ones will not be resurrected! Psalms 9:17 That's why death and hell were thrown in the lake of fire (completely destroyed) Revelations 20:14 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: Right. Not only were Death and Hades thrown into the Lake of Fire, but Satan, the Beast, and the false prophet were thrown there to be tormented day and night forever and ever (see Revelation 20:10). Also, according to Revelation 20 :15, the people whose names were not found in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death. Therefore, I should note that your interpretation of the Lake of Fire isn't the traditional understanding of it, nor is it universally agreed upon. 1 Like |

GosTic: These are symbolic but if you feel like taking it literally it's OK. ![]() |

MaxInDHouse: I appreciate that. However, do you mean everything I said is symbolic? I'd appreciate if you can be specific. What is your understanding of Revelation 20:10? |
MaxInDHouse(m): 9:33am On May 19 |
GosTic: And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet already were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Both Satan, Politicians, Religious leaders will be no longer exist in the new world! |
GosTic: 9:45am On May 19 |
MaxInDHouse: Right. Is it therefore your position that there could not be another realm aside from the new world where they would be tormented day and night forever and ever? |
MaxInDHouse(m): 10:08am On May 19 |
GosTic:God has never thought of tormenting a soul: They have built the high places of Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinʹnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that I had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart. Jeremiah 7:31 Note the highlighted in blue and check any version of your choice to know that God never thought of tormenting anyone! ![]() |

GosTic:No. It's still possible to commit sin after but this time it won't be a habit or intentional. The moment you know a sin is committed, ask for forgiveness and don't go back |

GosTic:Everything about the religion that exists today can be traced back to Roman roots, with no direct connections to the original movement that was created in Jerusalem and Judeah by the man named Jesus Christ of Israel, a movement comprised only of the bloodline of Jacob. So, it should follow that when asking these sorts of questions, one should also ask which hell these Christians will find themselves given that the vast majority of them, in the name of religion, already endure hellish lives here on earth for the sake of their gods of men. ![]() |
