Buying a Nigerian-used Honda Accord (2005-2007) can be a viable option if you're on a tight budget. However, as a first-time car owner, it's essential to consider the potential challenges and maintenance costs associated with older models.

Some common issues with Nigerian-used Honda Accords include:
- *Engine problems*: Older models may experience engine issues, such as oil leaks, overheating, or transmission problems.
- *Electrical issues*: Electrical systems can be prone to faults, especially in older models.
- *Suspension and steering*: Worn-out suspension and steering components can lead to uneven tire wear and affect the overall handling of the vehicle.

To make an informed decision, consider the following:
- *Inspect the vehicle thoroughly*: Look for signs of wear and tear, check the engine and transmission, and test the electrical systems.
- *Research the market value*: Determine a fair price for the vehicle based on its condition, mileage, and age.
- *Consider maintenance costs*: Factor in the cost of potential repairs and maintenance when calculating the overall cost of ownership.

If you're still interested in purchasing a Nigerian-used Honda Accord, I can help you find the parts you need for maintenance and repairs. Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone call at 08101840317.

Hi, it sounds like you've had some issues with your Pilot's O2 sensor and catalyst, but the new mechanic was able to diagnose and replace the O2 sensor. Regarding the low radiator coolant, it's a good idea to:
- Check for leaks
- Monitor the temperature gauge
- Check the coolant level regularly

If you're concerned about your Pilot's issues or need parts for maintenance and repairs, I'm here to help. I sell Honda parts and can provide you with the necessary components. I can also connect you with specialized Honda mechanics who can assist with any further issues. Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone call at 08101840317."

Good evening! It sounds like you've noticed some unusual behavior with your engine and cooling fan. Here are a few potential explanations:

- *Cooling fan issue*: The cooling fan might be faulty or not functioning properly, which could cause it to only turn on when the AC is on.
- *Temperature sensor issue*: The temperature sensor might be malfunctioning, causing the fan to only turn on when the AC is on.
- *Electrical issue*: There could be an electrical issue causing the fan to only turn on when the AC is on.

To troubleshoot the issue, you might want to consider:
- *Checking the cooling fan*: Inspect the cooling fan and its wiring to ensure it's functioning properly.
- *Scanning for error codes*: Use a code scanner to see if there are any error codes stored in your vehicle's computer.
- *Consulting a mechanic*: If you're not comfortable troubleshooting the issue yourself, consider consulting a mechanic who specializes in Honda repairs.

If you need parts for maintenance and repairs or want to connect with a specialized Honda mechanic, I'm here to help. Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone call at 08101840317.

- Use proper tools: Make sure you have the right tools for the job, including a ball t separator or a puller specifically designed for your vehicle's make and model.
- the suspension: Use a jack or a lift to the suspension and take the weight off the ball t.
- Disconnect the ball t: Use a ball t separator to disconnect the ball t from the steering knuckle or control arm.
- Pull the shaft and fenders carefully: Use a puller to slowly and carefully pull the shaft and fenders away from the ball t.

If you're not comfortable with this process or need further guidance, consider consulting a mechanic who specializes in Honda repairs.

As a parts seller, I can provide you with the necessary components for maintenance and repairs, including ball ts and other suspension parts. Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone call at 08101840317.

Get any reliable brand with at least 75AMP.
If it's cheap and light weight, it's fake and not up to rated capacity.

Your belt routing or belt size is the cause of the breakage. Get the proper sized belt and route it the proper way.

I use 7PK, size 2170 and I've never had the adjuster issue or its bolt breaking. Follow kingreign advise and let your belt be routed this way.

Hi guys.
I drive a honda accord discussion continue 2007
I recently observed that when driving with the AC on, the temperature guage rises above the half benchmark, but once I put off the AC, the guage comes down almost immediately.

Also this doesn't happen when I am driving at a free road, everything is fine if there is no traffic and AC is on.
But once I am in a stop and move traffic and AC is on, temps starts shooting until I switch off the AC before it goes down.
Please what could I be looking out for?
Thanks

I have 08:accord. It drains battery even if the car is totally off. 4 different rewire people have worked on the problem. They have scanned the car multiple times for error codes but nothing.
A car technician told me that there's something in the car that doesn't completely shut down.
Pls, has anyone had similar issues with their honda? How did you solve it

Parasitic drain, get a multimeter.

Hook it up in a way you can read the current flowing through the circuit. You can Google this.

Your meter should read an active current draw after connecting it.

Disconnect your fuses one after the other, until the reading becomes zero or close to it.

Whatever fuse you disconnected, the circuit attached to that fuse is the culprit. I'm not a Rewire, I use the same car but the 09, and I've dealt with parasitic drain in 2 of my cars. Pretty easy to fix.

Your car is likely overheating. Check your cooling system for issues. It will not overheat when there is no traffic because you're in motion, your engine is working less and you get enough air coming in from your grill. Are both fans working?

Yes, both fans are working
Even when I am on a stop and move traffic, the temperature is stable when AC is off, temperature rises only when I put on the AC.
The radiator has been washed, both fans are working pretty well.
I just can't pinpoint what actually is making the temps go up whenever I put on the AC

Check if your fans are working anti clock wise. Put a nylon in front of the condenser and see if it stays.

Yes both fans are working anticlockwise when facing the engine.
The leather experiment also sticked to the radiator indicating air is been pulled from the outside.

If your engine only overheats when standing but not when speeding on open road, then I'm 100% sure something is wrong with your fans.

Update, had to get the OBD diagnostic tool and the fault code displayed one of this

P2185 [0x2185]
Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 2 - circuit high
Status: Confirmed

Could this be the likely cause of the increase in temperature while the AC is on?

If so how do I resolve this pls

Try to bleed your cooling system.

Well here's your problem. Try to get another sensor to test drive and confirm if issue has been resolved, then clear code and enjoy.
