The development was made public on Monday by MonITNG, a non-governmental organisation, through a post on its official X handle. https://saharareporters.com/2025/04/07/rainfall-washes-away-newly-completed-multi-million-naira-road-edo-state?fbclid=IwY2xjawJg4DFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHoY9d5WjRMObfkcRCJgbYnKm5snUIAJvA8BzNXVXvHzX-S_yDKcC8Szo1wKB_aem_qEWVzIY-YJovhVJMO3jPtg

A newly-tarred road does not need to be tarred again within 20 years unless for expansion reasons. But in Nigeria, a newly-tarred road gets tarred again within 9 years without any expansion attempt, and fools try to justify it and call it maintenance. Now, it has gotten to the point of newly-tarred roads bowing to erosions within a month. Inflation of the cost of road projects is a topic for another day. 2 Likes |

Could substandard minerals be responsible despite the rain?

JAOS:Story. The corrupt politicians that awarded the contract do not have the dignity and confidence to challenge the contractor. |
