I am a farmer. I don't buy Rice in the market. But I eat rice in my house. I always keep enough rice for my family consumption every year.

This is how I process the rice I eat in my house.

Agriculture is the key to long lasting wealth but people will rather keep looking for unavailable jobs after graduation instead of going to farm

You are very correct. Alot of Young Boys in my place, farming have turned them to millionaires. As for me, I don't even buy Rice, Beans, Maize, Guinea corn, Soya Beans, Mango, Yams etc. Cause I farm them.

I also started farming last December. Low scale on a plot of land. Bush rats dug out and ate all the yams I planted

Apart from rice, which Plants will work in a swampy land or fairly swampy land in Raining Season?
Something one can cultivate and harvest twice. Even if it's once, also fine.

Catch the bush rats and sell them. Farming is very profitable if done the right way.

As things dey go now.
You may need to plant what to eat, manufacture and produce what you need. Then pay taxes on everything.

Mr man,
If you have a wife and SIX children or more and you have capacity to produce all the food they will eat, your blood pressure will not rise. Believe me.

I am about to eat gari in my house from cassava I farmed in 2023, and I was not even in Nigeria at the time. My boys did everything. We are still on the product and I had to give a lot of it out.

You are very wrong. If you do it the old fashioned way then you are right. Employ technology if you can afford it, we are not in the stone age.
