I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS (54899 Views)

BlaiseTobs: This is a rough way of connecting appliances to power station. Simply connect your stuff to your change over and connect the whole house at once. How can you buy power station and still be plugging it to Nepa to charge? What's the difference in your Nepa bill? Use solar s instead. There's nothing like power surge when you use solar s if you connect rightly. Check the place you bought it from for repairs. |

What if the person still wants to be able to use generator? Or is there an option to have changeovers for Nepa, Generator and Power Station? Debroslink: |
Debroslink: 6:15am On Aug 02, 2024 |
FarEl18: 2 changeovers will do it. A good technician will be able to do this. However, my advise is to sell the gen and buy solar s. 3 Likes |

do u charge yours with generators? BlaiseTobs: 1 Like |

Debroslink:This is usually a very big problem as u might loose your powerstation for life. plugging it to nepa isn't usually the problem. Nepa 95% of the time gives good energy and 5% of the time gives bad energy. This powerstations usually use volts of like 230 - 235. And Nepa do give same. If u use generator u may see 235 volts but immediately u plug ur power station the volts can come down to 10 or 190. Immediately the volts comes below 210 unplug the power station. |

Debroslink: Please can a normal solar works for Ecoflow River 2 max? I just got it and I'm looking at using it with a Solar |

Mela112: Please how many 400w s did you use. And how did you connect then? |

Hydronium:Hi, guys. I saw a 1300wh Skyrun solar generator at a reasonable price with 1 year warranty. Is this a good buy?

dryakson: Although it's no longer on jumia, I've checked it out. Seems like good specs for a new entry. However I buy these kind of things based on past/recent reviews, I'd rather not be a front tester with my 700k. Plus it's 1000W only. I don't think it has fast charging too. I'd rather add some more and buy ecoflow with solid ratings and higher power/surge etc. This is my opinion. 2 Likes |

Hydronium:It has surge power of 2000W. Fast charging of 1.5hr to fully charge.

Debroslink: I just got the Ecoflow river 2 pro, the mc4 to xt60 cable is no longer on oraimo website, anyone has an idea of where to buy? |
Babatundehy: 12:45pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
KingGeedorah: How many meters was the cable you got from oraimo? And what was the thickness 10awg or 13? I've been looking for the cable (currently out of stock on oraimo website), and I don't know what length i need. |
Debroslink: 3:08pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Babatundehy: Bluetti Nigeria website, jumia website, visit Arena, Ikeja CV or Alaba International Market. |
Babatundehy: 3:26pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Debroslink:Thanks for the reply, the cable isn't on BLUETTI website, it is on JUMIA but all the results are "shipped from abroad", that'll take too long to arrive if the sellers ship at all ( they have low seller scores), and I'm not in Lagos. |
Debroslink: 3:49pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Babatundehy: Come to Lagos and buy or use jumia and be patient with them for some weeks to deliver to you. |
Babatundehy: 6:46pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Debroslink:Yeah, that's what's left to do. Thanks 👊🏾 1 Like |

Just checked. It's still available on Jumia. It seems to offer more power for price compared to Ecoflow. They also have others. Hydronium:

Babatundehy:There's a few sellers on jiji if you know how to deal there. What solar s do you intend to use? |
Debroslink: 7:03am On Nov 02, 2024 |
dryakson: I'll not advise you to buy skyrun because of their limited 1 Yr warranty when it's rivals are providing 5 years warranty. It's also new and untested in the market. Ecoflow and Bluetti are known brands worldwide and have positive reviews. 1 Like |

Hydronium:Maximum solar input for the river 2 pro is 220watts, 11v to 50v, I'll be using africell 300 watts so as to constantly max out the river 2 pro solar input. Considering efficiency loss of the , the 300 watts will surely not produce 300 watts, and it is said on ecoflow website that bigger s can be used as long as 50volts isn't exceeded. 1 Like |

FarEl18:Skyrun? That brand isn't a solid brand, I have listened to how a refrigerator of the same brand makes so much noise and doesn't even cool great, I'm certain the quality of this skyrun power station cannot in anyway compare to that of ECOFLOW, go check the millions of positive reviews on Ecoflow products. Don't just look at the Wh, inverter power draw Is important, the percentage of that displaces the battery WH, some power stations have as poor as 70 percent efficiency, e.g 70%* of 1000wh-1000wh leaves you with real world 700wh. |
dryakson(m): 12:14pm On Nov 02, 2024 |
Debroslink:Alright. Thanks for the advice. I'll sure go for the ECOFLOW. |
Hydronium(m): 4:24pm On Nov 02, 2024 |
Babatundehy: Nice. What solar s d'you suggest for delta 2?
|
Babatundehy: 3:06pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
It says there the delta can take solar input of 500watts max with voltage not more than 60, using two of the africell 300 watts i plan to use won't work for you, voltage will exceed 60, whatever combination and connection you choose, just don't exceed 60volts. Don't be too close to 60volts either, the s current can be higher than the max for the unit, this is fine as the delta will only take the current it needs, voltage is forced into the unit, current is picked up by the unit, the difference.

Babatundehy: The bold is NOT true if you connect the 2 s in parallel. If you connect in series, you will have the problem because the volts will increase. Only the amps will increase if you connect in parallel while the volts will stay the same. 1 Like |
Hydronium(m): 10:42pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
Babatundehy: Africell 300w is 24v, I believe, so series still brings it up to 48v but is the power not too much at 600w? |
Babatundehy: 1:36am On Nov 04, 2024 |
Hydronium: Maybe there are variations of the product, the one I checked is 31volts, you can have 700 watts or even more, what's important is not to exceed the device's max voltage of charge of 60, the device picks what it needs from the current, but it takes all the volts it is fed from the s, the only reason you cannot exceed 60, in short, you can play with current not the volt. I am yet to see any solar that is 100 percent efficient, weather conditions not always perfect too, 600 watts array will most likely give you less even on perfect weather days, it is why people go a little beyond the max input (in watts) so as to always get something nice on bad weather days and to make up for the loss in efficiency of the s. 3 Likes |
