Just use it in an equation

A B C D

(A + D) / C = B

EXAMPLE

4 [9] 1 5

(4 + 5) / (1) = 9

3 [7] 1 4

(3 + 4) / (1) = 7

3 [3] 2 3

(3 + 3) / (2) = 3

2 [3] 3 7

(2 + 7) / 3 = 3

correct formula

Multiplication is Addition on steroids
Division is subtraction on steroids

if a and b are positive integers, then a×b means a should add to ITSELF as many times as there are units in b

1) 1×0 = 1+0= 1

1×1= 1+1= 2

1×2= 1+1+1= 3

2) 5÷1= 5-5= 0

5÷10= 5-5-5= -5

3) there are no straight lines in nature. Pythagoras theory and its derivative (diameter, radius, π) is nonsense ...s why are solar s flat since light don't travel in straight lines??

Multiply the two numbers in the middle, subtract the left to get the right number or the right to get the left number.

9 x 1 = 9
9 - 5 = 4 or 9 - 4 = 5

Quantitative analysis giving us tough time o

As you can see from the examples, we have 5 rows and 4 columns.

So,the sum of (row 1,column1) and (row1,column 4) is divided by the number in (row1,column 2) to get the number in (row1,column3). I think that's one the rules to follow.
Examples from the workbook: Always , the first thing to do is to Add(+) the first and the last numbers in each row as shown, above.
Guide: your focus(ans) should be on column 3 after adding and dividing.

(1) 4+5 = 9, then 9/9=1.
4, 9, 1, 5.

(2) 3+4 = 7, then the answer(7) will be divided by the number in row 2,column 2(7) , 7/7=1(row2, column 3).
3, 7,1, 4.

(3) 3+3 = 6, 6/2 = 3.
3, 2, 3, 3

(4) 2+7 = 9, then 9 is divided by the number in row 2(3), 9/3 = 3( the number in row4,column3). 2, 3, 3, 7

(5) 1+2 = 3, 3/3 =1.
1, 3, 1, 2

Exercises:

(11) 7, ?, 4, 1
Solution
7+1 = 8, then 8/? = 4, to know the value of ?, you cross multiply ? = 8/4 = 2(B).

7, 2, 4, 1.

(12) 8, 5, ?, 7. ... this one is straight. Just add and divide.
Solution
8+7 = 15, therefore, 15/5 = 3(A).

8, 5, 3, 7.

(13) ?, 1, 5, 4
Solution
? + 4 / 1 = 5 write it out as an equation and solve for (?) by crossing multiplying ? + 4 × 1 = 5 × 1, then collect like , ? =5 - 4, ?= 1(C).

1, 1, 5, 4.

(14) 4, 5, 2, ?
Solution
4 + ? / 5 = 2 Cross multiply, 4 + ? = 5 × 2, 4 + ? = 10, collect , ? = 10 - 4, ? = 6(E).

4, 5, 2, 6.

(15) 5, 2, ?, 5
Solution
5 + 5 = 10, divide your ans 10 by 2=5. Therefore, ? Is 5(D).

5, 2, 5, 5.
