RUMUWOJI MILE ONE MARKET SET TO OPEN IN JANUARY

Rivers State Government has assured that the Rumuwoji mile 1 Market will be opened for use before the end of January 2024.

The governor , Sir Siminalayi Fubara disclosed this during a thank-you visit to markets on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

Represented at the visit by His Youthfulness Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria for Rivers State and the South-South zone, Governor Fubara expressed gratitude to the traders for contributing to the state's economy and development.

He assured the traders that his istration, known for its responsiveness, has taken note of their concerns and emphasized that the market will be equitably allocated to traders, with no interference from politicians.

Sir Fubara specifically recognized the efforts of the Igbo community in Rivers State, acknowledging their contributions to the state's economic landscape, urging them to continue to pray for his istration in order to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.

Speaking earlier, the President of the Reformed Traders Association of Nigeria, Comrade Dede Chinedu expressed gratitude to Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the unprecedented gesture of recognizing and ing traders.

He lauded the efforts of the governor in prioritizing the welfare of traders and promised that the traders will continue to rally behind the governor in his programmes and projects to make the State better.

Highlights of the event were the inauguration of Rumuwoji market leaders and the unveiling of Christmas packages donated by the Rivers State Government which inlude; bags of rice, umbrellas, aprons, hampers, and cash gifts.

Truth is the Igbo part of river state have been marginalizing other parts of rivers state
If we are being honest here, since 1999
Igbo has been the only language spoken in rivers state government House, amaechi who said he is an Igbo man, tried to correct this thing after his tenure but dame Jonathan ed wike, who claimed he was not Igbo and he got from both the riverine areas in rivers and other parts of rivers, then after his tenure he ed and opobo/ibani man (opobo/bonny a town where Igbo language is the most spoken language with little, I mean very little ibani spoken) and made another igbo woman! Ngozi they deputy governor! Haba

Some even called the governor fake ijaw (because opobo is a mixed town founded by king jaja from imo state,and few ijaws), that the need a pure real, ijaw/ kalabari man to be governor!
But wike played a smart card as usual an his successor, SIM who can't even speak ijaw by any means (the only language he knows how to speak is the same exactly Igbo dialect spoken in Abia state!) Check all his campaign video!
Yet as usual, he played the I am not igbo card and presenting his name as evidence!

Despite him being from opobo, just because of his name not being Igbo, wike still didn't trust him! Wike went ahead and appointment SIM's deputy governor from igbo speaking part of rivers, not just the deputy governor, almost all the commissioner wike used in surrounding fubara! Where from etche, ikwerre, ndoki,omuku (infact all Igbo speaking part of rivers)

we don't play agbado slowpoke bigotry in Rivers State so die this your narrative. Ask yourself what happened when the riverine axis had a clean shot at governorship in 2015 ? Damn right, the legendary arrogance of your typical Ijaw man especially the Kalabari truncated that dream, divided the votes and allowed an Ikwerre man in Nyesom Wike to succeed another Ikwerre man who is Chibuike Amaechi.
