As much as people criticise pacifiers, it saved me from my babies being suckers. They just could not fathom sucking anything else once they were weaned off the pacifiers.

I am no help regarding how to stop breastfeeding babies. My kids always stop when they’re ready with no fuss. Regarding how to dry your milk with no fever or pain, I used cabbage and rubbed peppermint oil on my boobies, wore tight sports bra and I was completely dry within a week. Maybe try that when you’re ready.

I was asked if I wanted to dispose the placenta myself and I declined.
You can opt for the hospital to dispose it. No biggy depending on your beliefs

His mum has not started lactating and due to so much cries as a result of hunger, we were told to give formular as a supplement for the breast milk. which he has been okay with. However, I really want him to breastfeed so as to boost his immune system. What can be done by the mum for the breastmilk to start coming out. I think she should get this lactating cookies, I've heard it works well. Then maybe she should do more of hot tea, pap, pepper soup etc. They should be of help too.

He will outgrown it... It is d drooling that is causing it.. Just try as much as possible to be cleaning him up or use beep for him always.

She needs to relax, eat a balanced meal, drink lots of water and hot pap or oats. Then She should ensure the baby is latching on to the nipples well, if he isn't latching well then he isnt getting enough milk and that will make him cry. The technique is to make sure he is not hungry when trying to latch (feed formula then breastfeed) the sucking helps the brain to produce more milk. The she would gradually replace the formula feeding times with breastmilk until she can continue exclusively.

Yoghurt can be given alone or mixed with cereal. But try the one for kids instead

Well done to you both.

If she's already producing enough to satisfy him (I.e he sleeps off after sucking and makes enough wet diapers daily) then she can stop the formula immediately. Because the more he sucks the more the supply will increase.

Good morning everyone.
Please my wife just gave birth in Tuesday because is CS, she is no strong immediately so we decide to give formula to the baby.

Now that she is starting eating, her breast milk start filing up quickly and causing her a lot of pain.

Please what can she take o easy this pain out or dry some of the breast milk.
