Its not about CAS, its about previous records with ukvi if you have applied before.

I think I told someone previously, transaction history doesn't really matter, I think you need to read the gov.uk website to properly grasp the financial requirements

Use Form A. CBN directive to banks to process the same day and of course at (or very close to) the official rate.

Your mum can indeed sponsor you with funds in her own . All you need to show is your birth certificate with her name and your marriage certificate to show your name change.

Your mum can sponsor you, her child. Not her son in law or grandchildren.
The birth certificate will take care of any discrepancy so far you can prove relationship.

As per Teesside CAS, there is no letter. Only an email that includes your CAS number and your student details (amount deposited, student number, and all).
