Otukpo is a town that is under a strong spell never to enjoy good road infrastructure. I don't think there is any good road that extend up to 5km inside Otukpo. Most of the the roads linking the town are also eyesore.

If you wish to measure GDP per Capital, Banks will give information about number of people having 500k and above in their s, how many individually owned companies are in existence in the state, Car Merchants will give data of how many cars are bought in a year, week or days and cars from 5million naira and above may be used as yardstick to measure the wealth ratio of a State per capita. Ebonyi is poor, if the data is from the government of their total revenue in a year.

Among top 5 largest cities in Nigeria, yet all these still happening. Road and proper drainage has been a long time challenge in Benin city. Nigerian government can do better.

Obaseki didn't do better in that aspect but I must commend the good work of his predecessor Adams Oshiomhole, who constructed a lot of roads with well pave drainages.
The present governor should re-introduce monthly sanitation to reduce the problem of flooding in the state.

To be sincere with you, not just in this vat contribution. There were some other economic indicators statistics last year that Ebonyi performed better than the other Southeastern states except Anambra. And from my observation, it seems Ebonyi is the second most viable state in the Southeast.

What do you expect from a state whose successive governors made only one city - Owerri to be viable economically. They continue to build Tower of Babel city of the state capital, Owerri while they watch the other cities that started Imo state with Owerri to go down the drain.

It's not an excuse my friend, Edo state is a one city state but yet VAT collection is impressive, as you can see from the chart that she is in top 10.
