CoronaVirusPro:Bro leave this change your cycle talk. In Nigeria today it's almost impossible to maintain communication with a girl for at least one month without her requesting anything from you. Regardless of whether she a working class or a jobless girl. One need must come up provided you've decided to take her seriously. I once chatted with a girl who works as a ant with a multinational firm, she earns well, yet we can barely finish a conversation without her telling me to order food for her on glovo. I ended up letting her go. So remove cycle from your mind. Most girls these days are just greedy. 2 Likes |

Zackattack:To be honest with you I have no idea cos I've never bought connects before with any of those methods. When I ed upwork last year, I was given 120 free connects, which I immediately used in submitting proposals. Fortunately, I got a job before exhausting the free connects. December last year was when I bought connects for the first time on upwork. ($45 for 300 connects) and I didn't use any debit card. Since I was already working on upwork, I just use a part of the money I was paid to buy. And fortunately I got another job again that December. Since then I've not bought connects. I just use the 10 free ones I get every month along with the remaining ones from the purchase I made December to apply for one time gigs. 2 Likes 1 Share |

olaolaking:Lol...you're a case. You went to Google, ignored all the correct measurements there and clicked on the link of Nairaland Google brought out as your defence. I've added the Nairaland link you copied from google without ing if it's correct. Secondly didn't you see in one of my replies where I acknowledged that there are different types of crude? See I'm done arguing with you cos like I said earlier, you're just going around in circles. As for your thread, I'm not jobless so I won't waste my productive time arguing with you there. I've got much better things to do with my time. Good night.

olaolaking:What conversion do you need when you've never seen a dollar bill in your entire life. I gave you a simple assignment to carry out at any bureau de change outlet closest to you and get real time results you're here talking about conversation. You must really be a talkative in real life. Since we've resorted to using Google let me expose your ignorance here. And for the records you're the one who's sounding like a 20 year old boy. You're ignorant of real life happenings around you but keep arguing blindly.

olaolaking:Have you ever changed dollar using a mallam who operates a bureau de change outlet? If no, I have nothing more to say on this matter. Cos sitting in your house and typing what you see on Google is totally different from people's experiences in real life. olaolaking:No you're the one arguing blindly. Cos you're using Google rather than real life experiences. Just walk into any mallam with a single $100 and 5 pieces of $20. If you're given 161k for the single $100, you'll be given 140+k for the 5 pieces of $20 which is also $100. Google wouldn't tell you that, it's only when you've experienced it personally that you'll understand what I'm saying. So your logic about the official rate is totally flawed. Cos rates fluctuate and like I said, Google wouldn't tell you that. olaolaking:My point is that Dangote who is the center of this discussion cos of the high fuel prices buys dollar from CBN at a rate which is lower than the official rate. So your calculations about the value of 42 cents in Naira is also flawed as well. Cos you're using the black market rate to defend someone who buys lower than that. olaolaking:I said a standard barrel of crude oil (159 liters) yields about 170 liters of refined products. I knew this from a marketer who used to supply fuel from a tank farm to one of the AP (now Forte oil) stations in Lagos years back. If you have no experience about something, stop arguing blindly. |

olaolaking:Lol...you're the one misleading people by using mathematics to do exchange rate. This your reply shows that you know nothing about how the Nigerian exchange rate system works. Let me enlighten you on it, are you aware that someone with $100 single note and someone with $20 in 5 places wouldn't get the same exchange rate despite both of them being $100? Also someone with 100 pieces of $1 and 5 pieces of $20 wouldn't get the same exchange rate despite both of them being $100? Are you also aware that Dangote doesn't use the same exchange rate you use? The rate CBN uses to sell dollar to him is totally different from the official rate. So the black market rate you quoted is a far cry from what he's given. Also the high dollar rates which is one of the major causes of high fuel prices, was caused by Tinubu's visionless policies. So I don't know what you're defending. The oil cabals are raking in billions of naira daily, you that is sitting in your home without any connection to any of these people whatsoever is defending them. Affordable fuel which is the only thing you can actually benefit from the government is what you're kicking against and defending people getting fat from looting you dry. You my friend have a serious problem. |

olaolaking:You're just going around in circles. If you took your time to read through my replies to you, you'd have discovered that I've posted the conversion. I'm done replying you cos it's obvious that you have nothing to say. |

olaolaking:Lol...i posted the price in one of my replies a liter is 42 cents. While the price for a barrel is between $62-$64 depending on the type of crude. Need I remind you that the lower the price of crude oil, the lower should be the price of petroleum products. So if a barrel of crude is about $64 not $100 (or above) as it used to be a couple of years ago, why does fuel keep rise? Tutor me I'm all ears. 1 Like |

olaolaking:See how ridiculous you're sounding. I'm talking about fuel prices and how the masess are being extorted by the oil cabals and you're here talking about 2023 elections. Did you see anything regarding elections in any of my posts? I've always said it. The average APC er has nothing upstairs aside blindly defending this government. Just look at what you wrote and go back to my post and ask yourself if this thing makes any sense to you. 2 Likes |

olaolaking:The rate at which you guys display your ignorance just to defend Tinubu is really annoying. A lite of crude oil is sold for 42 cents at the international market that's about N192 with the current exchange rate. Nigeria refines crude here, so we don't have to pay for transportation, demurrage and other fees...besides a barrel of crude oil (159 liters) yields about 170 liters of refined products. So why should fuel be sold for N860+ how do you justify that? It's pure greed on the part of Dangote and NNPC and nothing more. 1 Like |

yinkus6750:I priced it last night which was sallah, the price the woman told me is within this figure you quoted. It has really dropped. The reason why we haven't started experiencing a drastic drop in inflation is because the price of fuel is still high. If fuel drops to like 400-500 per liter, the drop in inflation would be obvious even to the blind. 16 Likes 1 Share |

They mostly do it to find the lowest price available, even if it means walking round the market and comparing your price with other vendors. Unfortunately yours might not be the lowest that's why they price without buying from you. No vex biko...Country hard. ![]() 35 Likes 3 Shares |

pocohantas:I don't eat dog. My cousins know this so whenever I visit and see them eating pepper soup, they'll just tell me it's dog meat and I'll just remove my mind from it. There are people who rear local dogs strictly for consumption in Ebonyi state. They call it 404. But I've never found it appetizing enough to eat. The only animal outside the regular protein I've eaten is Hippopotamus and snake. A hunter killed the hippopotamus and sold a large chunk to my uncle in the village, his wife prepared it and told me what it was. I just tasted it out of curiosity. As for snake, I've eaten it a couple of times. |

pocohantas:I edited my post. They don't rear donkeys. Let me shock you, if no one tells you, you'll comfortably eat donkey meat thinking it's cow cos its impossible to differentiate between donkey and cow meat. They taste exactly the same. It's easy to identify goat cos of its unique smell and taste, pig as well. But you see that donkey, you'll never know unless you're told. In fact I've heard rumors that most of the beef being sold in Enugu is donkey meat. |

pocohantas:They don't use it for labour there. It's strictly for consumption. In fact, it's the regular meat in Ebonyi state o. Especially outside Abakaliki. You'll hardly see cow meat in villages. Just donkey, goat and okuko igbo. That's the available protein you'll have to make your choice from on market days. The funny thing here is that Ebonyi people don't rear it. It's brought in from Niger (country not state) in open trailers, offloaded to the markets and sold. Let me even shock you. I've not eaten beef in Ebonyi state before only in Lagos and other Eastern states. |

If you can give him your body but lock your phone, you're clearly hiding something. Cos the logical question should be has your body become more private than your phone? Same goes to guys as well. You shouldn't have any problem granting access to someone you freely and comfortably give your body to. For me I cannot date any girl who tells me her phone is her privacy, you can't be lying naked on my bed and be talking about privacy. There's definitely something in that phone you don't want me to see. 64 Likes 8 Shares |
