Alright thank you
afobam:
Any car above 150,000 should be v6. Don’t buy a 4-cylinder engine of 190,000. Apart from fuel economy, V6 is better in longetivity and durability.

Please you can a car and many as possible, some people don't like to sell a car with their plate number.. And some that got the car with old number would like to have the new number ed in their name.

So a car can be ed twice or more.
sleek214:
I believe the car has a plate number already. They won't give you another plate number. Except you want a special/ customised plate number.... The only thing you can get is change of ownership and prove of ownership... Besides, why are you trying to change the plate number? From the little I know, you can't a car twice..... If it were to be in Abuja, VIO will call you to come pick it up, by the time you get there, police will be waiting for you to hear why you're trying to a car that has been ed before . A plate number is ed to a car, plate number does not change but ownership change except you need a special/ customised plate number

Those range is very expensive, almost $4000 to $4500, but what of 190k to 220k miles?

afobam:
It’s relative. 100,000 to 120,000 is fine for a 13 year old car.
minista94(m): 8:34am On May 30
Okay, the one of 400k,
Whay does it do please?

erico2k2:

they work, but they just read basic fault codes.
minista94(m): 1:46pm On May 28
Wow, yours is quite expensive,

adexfem:

Sorry for the late response

N3.3m ( complete duty )
minista94(m): 1:44pm On May 28
Wow, so all these online one for 15k to 20k doesn't work?

erico2k2:

you wont find any good one for that cost, You need to raise it up to N400K then you can get something decent.
minista94(m): 11:24am On May 15
Your point is valid
The car mileage is just 47k mile so it's still as new.
But those in dealers hand, they must have touched the mileage and even change gear box or engine.

So importing is still cheaper and better
Realteeyee123:

business isn't straight line graph. Last I checked, Berger guys don't make cars, where do they get their cars from, literally from auction sites like this. If the price is low its a great deal. It would always be cheaper to import yourself if you know what you doing that buying from Berger.

Key thing is to know what you are doing and do your research
minista94(m): 11:17am On May 15
Alright thanks
I appreciate

Realteeyee123:

Lets run a simple maths, fill in the blanks

Price of the Car in USD.…

Shipping fee + possible agency fee….

Clearing cost... 2m - 2.5m

Repair cost... 700 -1m

Then whats the average price of cars in Nigeria of similar year. But keep in mind lots of used foreign cars in Nigeria are accented and have rolled back mileage. In your case you know what you fixing and the exact mileage of the car.

Factor these and it would be very easy to make a decision to either import or just get it in Nigeria

minista94(m): 8:06pm On May 14
Please how much for berger?

2cribz:
Stupid decision. Buying n shipping almost 6m,clearing another 2m..repairs...another 1m.
Alaye buy car at berger.

minista94(m): 7:00pm On May 10
Okay, I won't be buying from dealer, I'm getting directly

Louiscars:

No they use another fluid for those transmission, as someone below has advised,
Don’t change yet until you determine the condition of the transmission fluid when it arrives or better still get the vehicle maintenance history if (it was probably done at the dealership ) and check if they ever changed it.

Alright thank you

I read somewhere that mobile1 is too light, that it causes engine knock.

I don't know how true it is..

dru23:

For engine oil the most popular in Nigeria is Mobil 1 and fake original.. for all your original oil we got you cover...

For transmission fluid do not change it unless it is needed . Plz leave it alone u could end up doing more harm than good
minista94(m): 5:43pm On May 10
Is Cvt not a good one?
minista94:
Thank you, I really appreciate
minista94(m): 5:41pm On May 10
Thank you, I really appreciate
Louiscars:

For the engine oil use a reputable brand ( we have a lot all with various price range Mobil, Liquimoly, Hardex and the likes ) for the ones try and get from a reputable supplier that won’t sell fake
For your gearbox I hope it isn’t Cvt though, send a picture of the vin stamp to confirm, otherwise use the oil as specified by the picture below
minista94(m): 4:43pm On May 10
I mean if the oil name Wil be specific on the cover too?

2special:
okay
minista94(m): 3:16pm On May 10
Okay thank you.
Will they specify the oil name?

2special:
The tipstick where you normally check whether your is gauge or not, the recommended oil for the transmission is written there while for your engine oil, you see the recommended oil on the top cover.
minista94(m): 2:32pm On May 10
Alright thank you,
Please what of transmission oil and coolant?

2special:
Check the top cover of the engine oil compartment of your car, the recommended oil is writing there
minista94(m): 2:31pm On May 10
Okay thanks,
Please where can one find the oil?
Is it available in the market? How do i know the original one?
Blackbishop:

Professionally I will advice you to use synthetic prolly 5W30 of any good product. Also you can add Polytron to the oil

For transmission you will be using Toyota WS

For coolant I already sent you two products.
