Naima Jamal, an Ethiopian woman, was recently kidnapped and sold into slavery in Libya for a mere $6,000 by a group of Muslim terrorists. This incident highlights a disturbing trend of modern-day slavery in Libya, with Muslim terrorists operating a thriving slave trade with little to no media coverage. This is the legacy bequeathed upon Libya by the United States of America, the architects of this tragedy. The US, with NATO as it's proxy, in its insatiable thirst for global dominance, orchestrated the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi, plunging Libya into chaos and enabling the rise of these very same terrorist groups. Their "humanitarian intervention" has become a breeding ground for suffering and despair. The lack of mainstream media attention surrounding this issue has sparked outrage among activists and concerned citizens. One social media questioned, "Why aren't any students blockading campuses for her? Why isn't anyone posting a story that says 'All Eyes on Naima'?" This lack of coverage stands in stark contrast to the extensive media attention given to other humanitarian crises. The post continues, “If you posted stories and expressed for people who carried out massacres, rape, and started a war after declaring they want to kill all Jews, but said nothing about this - now is the time to reflect deeply on how much of your personality is pure virtue signaling and how completely lacking in moral com you actually are.” This raises concerns about selective outrage and the prioritization of certain humanitarian causes over others. These are global issues, regardless of the perceived political, racial or religious leanings.

Blazetrailer: For someone quoting Abraham Lincoln about silence and wisdom, you seem quite eager to showcase your own misunderstandings. The irony is delicious. First, I never said trade surplus automatically equals economic prosperity - that's your interpretation. What's truly amusing is how you've written an essay mansplaining basic economics while missing the point entirely about structural reforms and transition periods. Since you enjoy citing reports, perhaps you've also read about Ethiopia and Kenya's own economic challenges? Or does your expertise only extend to copying and pasting selective statistics? It's fascinating how you can simultaneously lecture about GDP metrics while ignoring the complexities of economic transition in developing economies. The real 'buffoonery' (since we're using such ) is reducing complex economic policy to partisan attacks. But hey, at least I can spell 'temporary' and 'buffoon' correctly in my economic analyses. 😉 |

Believeintruth: Yes, reduced imports contributed to the trade surplus, but this has also forced the manufacturer s to look for local alternatives to their raw materials, this push towards domestic production is necessary for long-term growth. I play in this sector, trust me. While manufacturing faces current challenges, and inflation is concerning, the ongoing reforms are attracting significant investment. The short-term pain is part of a needed economic restructuring. What matters is how we manage this transition. No be everything be propaganda. Nigeria will thrive in my lifetime. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Animegirl: I tell young people to live in the present. There are millions of possible outcomes to every door (decision)you open. Fear is your biggest enemy in life, don't let it paralyse you. Plan, but make sure you enjoy every step of the journey, not just the good, enjoy the bad too. The beauty of life is in the process not the destination What if you get both desires, or none of your desires. What if you get a bit of both, what if you get it but short only for a while. Too many possibilities. Live in your 'now'. Hope you get my drift. I |

Three suspects, who are charged with killing two women and threw their bodies in a pig’s enclosure, have appeared at the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court. The three were arrested after police discovered the decomposed remains of two women at a farm in Sebayeng, near Polokwane, on Tuesday. Maria Makgato and Locadia Ndlhovhu’s remains were found inside the pigsty after a man who was also shot and injured alerted the police. The case of murder against the three has been postponed for profiling and further bail application. The three suspects, Zacharia Olivier aged 60, William Musora aged 40 and 19-year-old Rudolf De Wit appeared briefly in court. Police initially arrested Olivier, who owns the farm and De Wit who is the farm employee, on Tuesday. Musora, who is a foreign national, was then apprehended on Wednesday. Preliminary reports indicate that the remains of the two women were dumped inside the pig stalls. The victim’s families are reeling in shock. “We kept on asking about her whereabouts, on Tuesday she was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a pig enclosure. Her remains were kept with the pigs, so this is so painful to us, she left four children, it hurts, we have never seen something like this,” says relative Memory Mushayabasa. “On Monday, the relatives of the deceased were called to come to the farm to check the situation which had just unfolded, they found the remains of their loved one in a pig’s enclosure, the pigs had already started consuming them, which points to the suspects wanted to dispose of the evidence,” says family member Charles Mogale. The media has been instructed not to show the images of the suspects. Investigations are still ongoing. The defence is still consulting with the accused. “Well, at this stage regarding the specialization in pigs, there is pig farming apparently but this like I also said I have not been able to confirm. The only people I have spoken to are some of his family ,” says lawyer Andries Rheeder. The matter has been postponed to next week Friday. https://www.sabcnews.com/sabcnews/919003-2/ |
