I write with Pains in my heart.
I wish to ask God why some certain events occur in life.
I have lots of questions to ask, but nobody to give me answers.

I describe as Selfish, inconsiderate and egoistical the decision of my mum to remarry.

So, I lost my lovely and caring dad six years ago. We had lived in Port Harcourt prior to his death. When we were traveling to the village, we packed all the little properties we had cos we were not going to return back to PH again since my mum would not be able to cater for myself and little siblings.
After the burial and funeral ceremony, we all stayed in the village. I mean a typical village where there's no good road, no electricity, no mobile network. I stayed for a few months, then left them to go squat with my friends in port Harcourt so I could hustle with my muscles and return back to sch at least because it had always been my dad's desire for all of us to go to sch, so I beat my chest and vowed that I would go to sch and graduate. Thank God, I'm done with sch now.

My current challenge now is my mum is in her mid forties and wants to remarry to a man in the village. She hasn't told me yet. But my paternal aunt called to inform me. I'm really worried because if she gets remarried, she will abandon my younger siblings who are there with her because she won't be allowed to take my siblings to her new husband's house as it is an abomination based on the customs and traditions of our place. If my siblings must live with her in that place, then they will have to start bearing the new husband's name as his children. Why ?

Also, as a male child, I'm not allowed to go visit here and eat or sleep over in her new house. If I do this, I might die. Why is this?

Based on reports, my grandfather(mum's dad) is the one mounting pressure on my mum to get married. I'm really worried about the whole situation because the ties between my mum and my siblings are about to be severed. Since my dad died, my mum has been living in her father's house instead of my dad's place. Though both places aren't far from each other. Its trekkable. I feel really hurt and betrayed, I can't even imagine my mum in the arms of another man. If I was stable in monetary and economic , I would have taken her out of that dungeon to come live with me, and also bring siblings along. I'm really pained as I type. Tears.. my dad died at age 47.

I wish u guys can beg my mum not to remarry please. What's the difference between me and someone from a Broken background?
Life is not fair to me and my siblings. Not fair at all. I know how I'm feeling right now.

Let me make it clear at this point that if her plans of remarrying goes through, I will dis-mother her. I'll cut all ties and destroy every bond that ever existed between herself and us the children.

Interesting.

Been observing this man for some months now, and he is an expert in speaking from both sides of the mouth.

You see him on Channels TV, attacking Mr Tinubu's government vociferously.

The following week he returns to Channels, and attacks Mr Obi.

Next, he is on Trust TV saying Mr Obi is a very good candidate who should come back to the PDP and partner with Atiku.

Just wait another week, he is on Arise tv proclaiming that Atiku cannot use PDP as his personal tool, and that the party is bigger than him.

Another week again, you'll see photos of him visiting and shaking hands with Mr Tinubu.

Looking at the way adefarasin acted and what ibiyeomi has been talking with his mouth lately.I feel our politicians have more conscience and humanity in them more than our pastors.i don’t want to add the adeboye and eneche. Our religious leaders have really fallen short.

In a country ravaged by unsolved gun violence, brazen extortion, and untraceable homicides, the last thing Nigeria needs is a spiritual leader mocking the rule of law.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, a man whose words fill cathedrals and whose influence stretches far beyond the pulpit, was recently caught on camera allegedly brandishing a firearm in broad daylight traffic. A digital witness captured him clearly gripping what numerous firearm experts have reviewed to be most likely a Beretta 92X RDO Compact - a military-grade pistol.

Rather than own up to it or clarify with dignity, the Pastor responded by gaslighting 250 million Nigerians - insisting the object in his hand was not a gun.
Yes, you read that correctly! A gun… in traffic… pointed in the direction of civilians. In a nation where even possession of a toy gun in public is legally prohibited without just cause, this is an insult not just to our laws, but to our collective intelligence.

This is not the Wild Wild West.

Nigeria is not some lawless frontier where influence gives immunity. Lagos is a city of over 20 million lives, crammed into chaotic roads and high tensions. The safety of its citizens must be non-negotiable, and the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who swore to protect this state, must lead from the front.

He must demand that Pastor Adefarasin submit himself to police authorities and present the item he was caught wielding. If it's truly a toy, then let the public see it. If it's not - let the law take its course.

The Laws Are Clear:
• You cannot brandish a real or replica firearm in public.
• You cannot threaten or intimidate civilians - especially media creators - for simply filming in public.
• You cannot dismiss public concern with sarcasm and gaslighting.

What Happens Next Sets Precedent:

If nothing is done, then every frustrated elite will soon begin brandishing weapons - real or fake - in traffic, in malls, at airports, and on our streets.
Silence now means anarchy tomorrow.

It is time to sanitize Nigeria's relationship with firearms - not deepen its rot. Pastor or not, no one is above the law.
he looks like a bully and someone who takes here drugs.truth be told.guys watch that video again and watch d way he acted. How do we get rid of all the pastors in Nigeria.they are actually worse than our politicians.

We also have similar practices in different cultures across Nigeria; it's just that Christianity has eroded their significance over time.
Nkugho is practiced by the Efik people and a similar tradition sometimes called "Mbopo" exists among the Ibibio.
Generally, these rites involve the seclusion, feeding and training of young women in preparation for marriage.

In Igbo culture, there is a similar practice called "Iru Mgbede" or "Mgbede" it's a period during which a girl is prepared, beautified and educated about marriage.
There's also "Erhe r' ivie" practiced by the Urhobo people, where a girl is groomed and taught everything she needs to know about family life.
The North has "Kulle" or "Kunne"

My wife has been acting weird for some months now, like she doesn't apologize if she is wrong, doesnt try to seek avenues for us to reconcile if we have quarrels. Instead, I am the one that always put the foot forward. If I point out something, she shows no remorse. She often says things like 'this life na once' .

Just a background.

I stumbled on this message sent by her workplace close girl friend. This tiktok message talks about falling in love with a married man because the man makes her feel loved etc etc.

But the caption below by the friend says, we will miss you so much.

My mind has been wondering what it means.
I woke her from sleep to confront her to explain what the message means (it's a message sent this January) ..she looked scared or maybe anxious as I asked her if she had cheated on me with anyone recently.. offcourse ,'no' is the normal answer.

I showed her the message for her to explain what it was about . She said she can't what it was about and that she doesn't know. When I pressed further, she started gaslighting that if I feel she cheated, I should give her a divorce .

Dear house, what are you views on this matter? I am more concerned about what this message might mean.

Please be fair in your judgement. Thank you.
