BluntCrazeMan:
QUICK SUMMARY OF OUR ELECTORAL REFORMS REQUESTS:

(We are a civil society organization ed in Nigeria [name withheld].. We submitted our request for electoral reforms at the two national assembly houses, and also submitted same requests to the of electoral reform committees in the both houses.)

1. We requested for a Direct & Instant Electronic Transmission of the results into the β€œDigitized Electronic Collation System”, coupled with an Instant Electronic Collation of results.

2. We requested for a Direct & Instant ing of the photos of polling-units-results, and also ing of the photos of ALL the collated-results which were officially announced at all the collation levels.

3. We requested for a Compulsory and Immediate Forensic Auditing of all the election results at all levels, including the Forensic Auditing of the BVAS and the IREV, and also for all the papers and documents which were used for the election.

4. We requested that the CTCs of all tendered documents must be itted as evidence during the Petition Tribunals, and not to be regarded as β€œDUMPED”, (Let it not be that since there are no series of multiple witnesses to testify to the individual CTCs, then it wouldn't be itted.).

5. We requested that the staff of INEC (Both permanent and adhoc staff) must be identified with special unique staff-tag identity-numbers which gets re-issued for every election cycle, and every staff who signs any sheet must indicate his own unique staff-tag identity-number beside his name and signature on any of such sheets.

..

..

*** AND THEN,, IN THE ALTERNATIVE ***
SHOULD IN CASE THE SUGGESTED REFORMS WERE NOT SUCCESSFULLY ED INTO LAW.

Then, we suggested that the party-agents should brace-up, because they will now have lots of works to do during the elections, since the old Electoral Laws would still be the laws that are still in place.

a. The party-agents should be more meticulous and detailed while raising their disputes., and they should carefully note down all the noticed errors at any stage.

b. They should get the full names and positions of the INEC Officers, and write them down properly.

c. They should get video evidence of whenever the INEC officials are calling out the results, and also, get video evidence of when they themselves are raising the disputes and also when the INEC Officials are giving their own responses to the issues that were raised in the disputes.

d. They should make sure not to storm-out of the centers (or leave the centers) out of anger, no matter what the officials are doing.. And then, they must have to sign the sheets and indicate on the original sheet that they disagreed -- this could be done by writing β€œDISAGREE” on the sheet after g.

..

.

I love your points, but if u look at the first section of very well and compare with what we have on ground, i think in one way or the other most of it is done, the problem there is you expect the people in power to make some move, live audit etc, that is the work of opposition.

but the second secment is grt, an i have an idea of something we can do, if u are interested in making the electoral process good, we can work together and try a template witt the coming election in ABJ

From most of the comments I feel you guys don't get the point. A media house should at least be open to her audience when their is information they are supposed to share and let the audience make opinion

Without emotions...
Mining Engineer understands this thing...

Oil is treated that what is because people stealing it are not stealing it from the underground, they don't invest resources to bring it out, they only stole it when someone has invested millions of dollars to drill and pump...

But for solid minerals I can go and extract it directly from the ground myself

That is the difference.

One you are taking directly from the ground without being ed the other one you are taking what someone has invested billions in

Fixing Ajaokuta is a waste of money, the money that'll be used to fix it can build a modern one. The Russian contractors who built it made it very hard for anyone else to fix it.
