Will the 50w solar be able to charge the 300w device effectively?

It can, however it does depend on how you make use of the power station.

1) Where you are a remote worker, our recommendation is that you select 100W s for effective charging with the solar .
2) However, if you use the power station for entertainment and to relax after a hard days' job, the 50W will be enough to charge the power station before you get back from work.
