Tinubu will rather watch the country bleed & burn first before he does this because in the primitive minds of him and his fellow crooks, "there won't be enough loot to go around." Even if they want to pay Nigerians a minimum wage of 150K per month they would. They just have to cut cost in every way possible, including slashing salaries of top politicians and start investing in things that matters & would be productive. I will say it again; the move to build a coastal highway with 15 Trillion naira is a total d*ck *ss move when you can invest that money in Agriculture and reap bountifully in the the next year. The things is APC & there online minions here on Nairaland thinks 99% of Nigerians are on Nairaland but it's actually the opposite. They don't really know what's going on outside and how angry Nigerians have become. I mean, yesterday was just the first day and we are already seeing massive destruction of government assets. Tinubu, if he was as wise and smart as his Ronu warriors and ers project him to be, would have started using live media coverage to address and calm Nigerians five days before the official protest, reversing policies that need to be reversed immediately. But no, the dude is completely clueless, and his main aim in grabbing power was just to get his own share of the national cake, not to cater to the people. MR EMILOKAN (it is my turn) Alias "Grab it and run away with it." I mean, yesterday was just day two and we are seeing this kind of massive destruction on government assets. What happens by day 5? Maybe when protesters start marching into these evil politicians' homes or stopping them on the road and dealing with them, and finally give him, Tinubu the Sri Lanka treatment, then they will sit up and start doing things right.

Someone somewhere has used Obi to swear for Reno. So this dude still found a way to link this stuff to Peter Obi leaving the likes of Sowore and other popular Yorubas and Northerners championing the protest. He has done this stuff till the extent it has become childish. Everyone, including the people hailing him now knows he does so for traction (cheap attention). My prayer for those reading this post is that may God not ignore you the way Peter Obi ignored Reno Omockery. ![]() 7 Likes |

Residents of Mararaba, masaka, ado, New Nyanya has started ing the protest in just day one. ![]() Scary thing is some of those boys are smoking the teargas and throwing it back at the police. Nigerians protesting; while excising your right please know your enemies. The masses are not your enemy so don't inflict more hardship on them. 1 Like |

Information reaching me right now is that a serious protest is taking place at Checkpoint Nyanya down to mararaba axis. The Crowd is said to be enormous. The protest, which began near Nyanya checkpoint, saw a large crowd attempting to march towards the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). However, police forces intervened to prevent the demonstrators from advancing. Tensions escalated when an innocent bystander, not involved in the protest, was reportedly shot in the leg during the altercation. In response protesters have burnt the Police outpost at checkpoint, beat the first batch of police that tried stopping them who managed to escape, hopped into their vehicles and zoomed off. They have also burned tires at various locations. The situation intensified with the sound of gunfire in the air, which was clearly signaling a volatile atmosphere. Adding to the tension, helicopters were seen patrolling overhead as all attention shifted from other protests in city of Abuja to this particular unrest. Concerns have been raised about the potential for further violence, with calls for restraint and caution. Observers are questioning whether the military, who have been deployed, can maintain control without resorting to further use of force. For me, PR Tinubu should call the military to order. Shooting protesters at day one is a bad move that can change the course of the entire protest. There are other measures that can be taken. Above all, the big question is, can the Military hold them for too long without shooting multiple people? Scary times ahead. Just inform any of your relatives or loved ones to stay safe. 1 Like |

donbrowser: I didn't hear such news. But If it happened or should, then I will tell you this for free she is a fool and the vast majority of Igbos won't/don't stand with her. |

From the look of things, this is likely going to play out. With the way they have been holding meeting with Military chiefs and using military presence to instill fear in the mind of Nigerians. One place I am certain it will turn a disaster if someone get shot, is the core North. Those Abokis, bike riders & Almajiris don't hear sorry. I believe soldiers there would respect themselves like they have always been doing over there but flex their military muslcle in the South as usual. One of the many reasons no South East states will participate in the protest. We have eaten blame, accused wrongly and died for Nigeria enough. Let those who feel the need to protest or feel it's the solution to Nigeria's problem do the protest. Yes you all have our full . Perhaps, APC might listen and start getting things right. 136 Likes 12 Shares |

Shikena: I expected you to shift the goal post, usual traits of you guys. Attack the Fulanis that are killing your guys on a steady. Give them notice to leave your land like the way you do to Igbos but you can't because you all don't want to anger your Fulani masters. That reminds me you couldn't even reclaim Kwara and she is currently over compromised. But you will suddenly have the strength once it has to do with Igbos because you know they are business people and wouldn't want to joke with their business. Accept the truth, you all are just jealous because the Igbo man is doing as better as you guys and even richer than most years after arriving Lagos broke. |

ZIAZI: Igbos are not 2 faced cowards like naked striping people in Nigeria. When we believe something is bad we stand against it and condemn it in totality. Yes you have the right to what you want you make your choice but the choices you make an affect others. That aside, people who condemned Peter Obi when he was Governor where the people who haven't started seeing results of his works. Reason they came back to show him . |

Richcreed: Can you provide proof where Igbos came together to declare Lagos as theirs, drag it with the Yorubas or kill Yorubss for it just like the way Fulanis do? Can you? Or you are indirectly telling me you guys lack the balls to face the real people dragging your land with you? Even till the point of sending your Grandpa to Benin republic. |

Most Yorubas are really annoyingly funny people though. So they can have Obas in the US and UK but frown at anything realted to Eze Ndi Igbo in Lagos a once capital of Nigeria and a cosmopolitan city. It's this same people (majority) that would still scream racism at the top of their voices but back home they are pro-tribalist which is no different from Racism. Mehn! The double standard in Nigeria is as clear as the waters of the Maldives. 49 Likes 6 Shares |

Hope you all can see the rich arable land yet the masses are suffering. What stops the Nigerian government from investing that 15 trillion meant for the coastal highway into agriculture? Like why don't they do that. Can such an investment in the Caostal highway (another white elephant project) beat what agriculture could offer with that money? Yet you see some people who are believed to have brains ing and defending this rubbish. APC ers are the most foolish people we have in this country. And I mean it. They voted and rigged for a man that half of the time he is campaigning it's all insults, shading and trolling even till the point of insulting a sitting governor. They did this, over one that kept screaming that production is the only way out. Pathetic. You saw a man, a so called first class ant, dodge debates like naked wire, went for an arangee debate in UK (Chatham house), only to delegate more than 80% of the questions to his associates, a man that speaks carelessly without thinking, and even says things that Cambridge grammarians can't comprehend, yet you still voted for him. It will not be well with you oo! If you are reading this (APC ers). That your plan you are making to Japa and leave us in this mess you created will fail woefully and if you are there already Karma will naturally bring temptation that lead to deportation. One way or the other you will suffer for this calamity you brought upon your fellow Nigerians because of tribal and religious sentiment. Amen. 1 Like |

VeeVeeMyLuv: This is it. The bolded is where the problem lies. They only make themselves accessible when they're in trouble. This is where Peter Obi beats them all. I know for sure that if Peter Obi were to be the president, we the youths will have atleast 10% of the say in this country/his government which is what democracy is all about. PO would seek for our opinion and our opinions will count. He did it when he was the governor of anambra state and I'm certain that if he was to be in the same situation with Tinubu, by now he would have even done a National address. Tinubu is just stack clueless and pride filled. He (Peter Obi) flies economy for a reason, he goes to schools for a reason, he mixes with the masses for a reason, he communicates with Nigerians on Twitter space and many more for a reason but we Nigerians decided to choose tribalism over competence. Let those who will protest, do the protest. When I was willing to sacrifice my life for Nigeria has ed I won't do that nonsense anymore. 6 Likes |

3ice9ce: You just had to involve his whole tribe as pro-tribalist you are. Meanwhile, what you just said is the total opposite. Igbos are the only tribe that rejects crime of all kinds even if it's there brothers. They hardly sit in face of crime. Reason some say they don't love themselves. They don't mind shaming and beating their brothers and elders in public if they have to. Unlike some people that believe that improsonement by elders is very okay and once they commit a crime it's their sole right and Shouldn't be a condemned because they are elders forgetting that even fools grow old. Those are the kind of people you spit on. Reject hypocrisy in your life. 17 Likes |

SAN dey fear make hand no touch am. 😁 Don't be surprise if this man is honestly asking for protection because he has a hand in the dirty plot that played out during the 2023 presidential election. helinues: As usual and expected "Toh reactor" don drop tribalistic motivation for Ronu miscreants. When it's a news that exposes the crime of APC, Ronu miscreants and their ers or has northerners doing the talks and threats Hellanus will react with "TOH!" But when it has to do with things related to Peter Obi, Obedients or Igbos all the hormones in his body will be all charged and stand up like NEPA pole. ___________________________ For the Igbos kindly avoid this protest. Especially in Lagos. It's a trap. No hate right here but my honest opinions based on several observations of statements made by most people from the west. When we Igbos said we won't protest for knowing the obvious beforehand, rejecting it and being bullied for it and for avoidance of future blame game, we were accused of indifference with questions like,"Are we unaffected by the hardship?" Alright, a few over sabi Igbos matched up on a twitter space to say we would this protest and feed those that would come out if we have to, only for them (hate speech and false news peddlers) to now tag the whole thing an igbo protest. imagine the nonsense. Whereas northerners (most) have been threatening fire and brimstone. But as usual it's always on you (Igbos). Use your tongues to count your teeth. Husbands don't make your wife a widow, Sons don't make your mother a mourner/childless. You do it, it becomes a problem, you don't, it also becomes a problem. It's better you don't. Prevention is always better than cure. For the discerning, one word is ample. I drop my pen. 61 Likes |
