afrodoc: the assistant referee is an i.diot ,that ball was not over d lineApparently De Gea's foot being over the line made the ball over the line as well. |
![]() |
Walspring: Imagine Arsenal no get shot on and shot off target for the past 30 minutes of play...LOL. De Gea is on holiday ![]() United aren't marking Arsenal closely enough; giving 'em too much space to think on the ball. I don't think Jones deserved a yellow there. He was just unlucky to have put his head in a second late. |
![]() |
Rooney/RVP magic ![]() Arsenal's gonna heap on the pressure now. United need to put in another goal ASAP. |
![]() |
chamotex: Smalling at RB? I prefer Jones with Clev in the middle. Smalling held his own in that position against Real Sociedad, that's why Moyes has him there again. Jones is useless at the back. Better in the middle. |

Moyes shoulda taken the guy off eons ago. Instead he let Everton sentiments cloud his reasoning. United shoulda won this. . .those misses were just too many and in the end, costly. RuuDie: I'm actually not upset at Fellaini's red. At least its a sign of tackling; better than having the opposition waltz into our third of the pitch every other time with all that lousy 'shadow' marking we usually do!Fellaini wasn't the only person that did some tackling on the pitch tonight. No one else was as terrible at it. Dude just doesn't seem to fully understand the skill. . .like Adebayor never got the hang of the offside trap at Arsenal. |

Empty vessels still make the loudest noise. ![]() Rooney is gold. . .no need to shout about it 'cos those that know already know. This is gradually dragging on into one of those 0-0 games. |

Cristalz: Night of incredible misses. Okay, I really shouldn't have typed that. RVP!! ![]() |

Night of incredible misses.

Rooney has tried, but I still don't see any player with his work rate. Sorry to see him go. Giggs and Fellaini need to get off that pitch IMO. Just saying. |
![]() |
I'd say Chris Smalling has put in better work than Fellaini with his clumsy tackles. Also Kagawa has been good attack-wise. . .the few times he gets possession, that is. Do y'all see the amount of work Rooney is putting in on that pitch abi bias is blocking some eyes as usual? ![]() Wish Chicharito could get fed more often. Have to mention our defense. . .holding up nicely, apart from the occasional slips. Vidic has been solid. |

A-40: Shake what? You're not serious ![]() @StarBoard If a coach gets something right it's only fair to accord him the praise he deserves. So excuse the "monkeys" (seriously?? ![]() I'd tell you to go stick pins in your testicles if you don't like it, but of course, I don't wanna be rude ![]() Arsenal top the league. Must feel like Christmas for them. |

mbulela: i knew Moyes was bad. i just did not know he was this poor. LOL ![]() Prepare for mid-table this season, that's what. Everton-style. ![]() |

Fellaini's goal offside?? Crap!
|

dademola: bt i tot u sed he is trying or smfn... I was referring to the game against Leverkusen that day. Was trying to point out that Moyes wasn't at fault for the players' horrible showing against City. But today's game is another story. His subs made no sense to me in the Capital one cup game against Liverpool, and a similar thing is happening here again today - sub choices and player choices. |
![]() |
In other news, Aston Villa 3 - 2 Man City. Game still on. I shoulda watched that instead. ![]() |

A-40: Actually it is becoming kinda funny. Personally I'm past the anger stage. Moyes makes unfathomable player choices, and the players themselves forget the basic things they should be doing. If I was superstitious I'd say Moyes brought some mid-table mediocrity jazz along with him to OT. |

Somebody please shoot Rio in the right kneecap.

A-40: Ewww.TMI ![]() ![]() StarBoard: Why waste a substitution with Janusaz? Very good question. |
![]() |
United's defense has become a joke, De Gea included. I've got to blame Januzaj for losing the ball so easily. If he hadn't been so weak in possession WB wouldn't have been able to get up that flank 'n go make a jackass outta Rio. Chicharito's positioning has been poor, and that's just the hard truth. RVP had berra rectify that now that hez on. Lovely equalizer from Rooney. And without RVP's help, I might add. He is just beautiful. |

Screwface: Conservative Moyes. What's the rationale behind Hernandez and Kagawa sub while aimless-restless Jones and old-but trying Giggs still roamed the pitch?? Totally pointless, I tell ya. Didn't make sense to anyone, I'm sure. (I don't agree with the Giggs part though. He was okay.) |

Well, Arsenal survived. WBA sent two penalty kicks to the stands 'n gifted Arsenal the win. |

And West Brom decide they don't wanna be in the tourney anymore. Smh |

My specie isn't on the endangered list yet ![]() Your guys seem outta ideas in the final third. |

Oh, the Robinson Crusoe look-alike is Bendtner ![]() |

chrisley024: Good defensive work by Jones 2day. Not all good. His fouls were terrible. Liverpool coulda scored from the freekicks he gave away. |
![]() |
montelik: Well we're through to the next round, where we will surely draw City, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal. If Arsenal go through. They're prepping for 30 minutes ET. WBA holding 'em down. |
![]() |
Hernandez and Kagawa off? Could someone explain these sub choices to me? Both guys were getting into the flow of the game! |
![]() |
coded guy: Carrick warming up? Can't he allow carrick rest this one out. What is Phil Jones doing? He is probably gonna take Jones off. |
![]() |
Chicharito gets one in.

At least we don't look drugged tonight. The guys are marking and not allowing Liverpool much breathing space. But the Scos do look dangerous in attack. I'm worried about the defense. I see holes and some losses in concentration, e.g. how could Evans miss the ball like that, allowing Suarez the opportunity to make that steal?? Smalling is working hard though. The MF has no bite. Kagawa truly isn't fully fit yet; Nani's presence is only showing in flashes, though beautifully bright flashes. I hope he gets better in 2nd half. Giggs isn't linking up with Rooney attack-wise like he usually does. That needs to change. Rooney is playing too deep for my liking, though he kinda makes up for it by being almost everywhere at once. Wonder what the man eats. I'm not feeling Chicharito's presence. Poor positioning, perhaps. . . ![]() 2nd half had berra produce goals before Liverpool get one in and set the mood on a downward spiral. |

@Debozzie Since when did your happiness stop depending on football? ![]() But really, you can force a horse to the river but you can't force it to drink. What more could Moyes do? Therez no one to say he didn't try to stir them up during the half time break; I mean, he produced the Leverkusen performance using the very same players, didn't he? The way the guys played today, I doubt that even Fergie's famous hair dryer treatment woulda had any impact. Those dudes were drugged or jazzed or both. I suspect A-40 for the drugging. . .probably happened during the trip to Etihad ![]() sir.law: Hey, we're not all razz here. . .(not all the time anyway). ![]() Just know who to avoid and who to exchange ideas/opinions with and you'll find the fun we share in here, I assure you. ![]() |
