What impt is when the property was purchased, before he became governor or after.
people have lived in Sokoto for more than 30 years and still don't own a house there. Even though they can afford one.

A house and a home allude to having a structure put in place which usually involve a building of residence where one live with family .

I believe saying he has a home in Onitsha alluded that a structure was put in place. A structure meaning a house where human beings live.

He mentioned cities in Nigeria, where no such structure was erected by him, but forget that the internet have eyes.
