I think what the guy is trying to say is that the quota allocated to lasu was 8k but lasu could only afford to take in 5.5k due to the reasons u mentioned earlier

…Online ission Screening Exercise Extended, to Close Thursday, 26th September, 2017
Lagos State University has re-opened the Online Registration Portal for Candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University as First Choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but were unable to when the Exercise was first conducted (between Friday 23rd June and Monday 31st July, 2017).

The IIVC Registration Portal for Indigenes has now been re-opened effective Wednesday 20th September, 2017 and registration will close midnight of Sunday, 24th September, 2017.

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand (N5,000.00) Naira only into the Lagos State University online through this link:

VERIFICATION INTERVIEW: After completing the online application, Candidates are to present themselves for Verification interview on Monday, 25th and Tuesday, 26th September, 2017 as follows:

jamb score divided by 8 and postjamb score multiplied by 2.5 then later divided by 2....then u dd everytin togeda....altho there might be easier ways to calculate it but that's the one I know tho and I hope others will help shed more light on the issue#

Me I did not hear anything about the ission letter oo cos me gan neva get ission letter wen jamb Neva update my ission for their site but I think we have nothing to worry about....I have a friend in lasu who is in 300level but he is yet to print his ission letter till date cos same thing happened to him too but he said everything will be sorted out during registration
