After the level of tribalism I witnessed in Lagos during the just concluded governorship elections, God has compensated me with victory for my State.
I'm officially relocating to my home State, Abia State come December 2023. So much development is needed in that place and I alongside other well meaning Igbos will lend our skills, energy and resources towards achieving that.

A neighbor has a new Imose Android phone her husband gifted her the previous day. The lady has been struggling to open a new Facebook unsuccessfully so in a bit to assist her decided check the cost and the android version of the phone.

The acting Dean of Medical College, University of Ibadan,Prof Adebola Ogunbiyi ,invited all the old students who are now doctors produced by the college to a zoom meeting.
The reason for the meeting was not farfetched.
The professor was sick with worry about the infrastructure decay and rot at the medical college she oversees in Ibadan.
She is aware that the Nigerian government is too broke to fund it, so she came up with a master stroke, which was to tap into the resources and social capital of the alumni produced by the medical college scattered all over the world to give the medical college a facelift.
A Zoom meeting was fixed on Monday, two days ago, and the link was sent to the former students of the medical college.
Starting off the meeting, Prof. Ogunbiyi narrated the challenges and plight the current medical students at the college are facing.
The current medical students of the college need a new hostel and their classes also need to be refurbished.
The acting Dean of the college ended her speech by appealing to the alumni of the college to her in rebuilding and restoring the lost glory of the medical college.
Her speech opened the floodgates of donations from the medical doctors produced by the Medical College, University of Ibadan.
The donations were coming in trickles.

Until it got to the turn of Dr. Philip O. Ozuah (attached in the picture), an old student of the college who is currently the President and CEO of Montefiore Medicine in New York.
Philip Ozuah did not say too much as he went straight to the point of making a donation of $1,000,000 (700,000,000).
In his words, UI’s medical college shaped and refined him into the man he is today, so he has the duty to give back to the school.
When Dr. Philip announced the $1,000,000 donation, all of the old students in the zoom session began shouting, "Wow!" Wow..
Even the dean, who called the zoom meeting, was speechless as she did not see that coming.
None of the old students of the medical college could donate again since Ozuah had set a standard they could not match.
From shouting Wow! Wow! The Zoom fundraising meeting came to an end with the closing prayer said immediately.
It should be noted that Ozuah had his medical degree certification at the University of Ibadan and did his internship at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital before he proceeded to Southern California for his Master's program and got his PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In the bus, in the Church, at business centers etc. Except you visit LGAs, that is where you'll find people that can die for Tinubu, including Igbos working directly and indirectly with the LGAs or those playing party politics, these make up only 00.50% of the Igbo population in Lagos. The hate on Buhari has been transferred to Tinubu.
AT MOST, 90% OF IGBO VOTERS THAT CONSTITUTE 30% IN LAGOS POPULATION WILL VOTE AGAINST APC.

Listen, the anger I saw on the masses, I can bet you that this time around there will be limited snatching of ballot boxes, because one of the reasons ballot boxes were snatched is because in some polling units you would only find five or ten persons being attended to. Thugs barely disrupt election where people are much. They find it very difficult. So, the only way it can work is to employ more Agberos for the dirty job. But when you check the number of the entire polling unit in Lagos alone and with this upsurge of new registration then you'd wonder how many thugs Tinubu will be needing to command victory again in Lagos.
Now, the issue is that PDP and Labour Part have no serious contenders and many are really focusing on the outcome of the Presidential Election. The outcome will greatly determine who will win Lagos Gubernatorial Election.
I have been going to various INEC registration centers repeatedly for over two months, and there hadn't been a time that I had not met over 500 persons at every given point in time despite the fact that at least over 300 persons are ing everyday (though very low).
INEC should please employ more hands. Let corp be recruited into this registration process too to lend helping hands to these tired hands. And my plea goes to the leadership of INEC, to postpone this registration to one or two more months to give Nigerians the privilege to be part of this great revolutionary change.

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sit and dialogue with the striking lecturers under the platform of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to end the nearly six-month strike.
The former Anambra governor said if the President could sit with party leaders over primary election, he should also sit with the aggrieved lecturers to end the strike.
Obi said this in an exclusive interview with Vanguard at the weekend while reacting to ASUU.
“What we have on our hands is a situation that requires presidential intervention. The minister that has been given an ultimatum has not just been appointed to oversee the education sector. It is not that he has just been drafted to do the job.
“This is a job that has not been done to deliver on an outcome that is desirable, so, giving an ultimatum to your minister is like saying, continue to talk as they’ve been doing?
“President Buhari is the one on whose desk the buck stops. He should sit with ASUU and engage and resolve this matter. If he can sit with party leaders over presidential prinaries and get a result, he should sit with ASUU and ensure that this strike comes to an end,” said Obi.
The LP standard bearer also said: “Then, our political leaders, too, should please take this matter very seriously.
A situation where we have local government councillors and chairmen and assembly earning much more than professors is not ideal. Education is key. The President should take charge. The same things goes for the looming food crisis. Our President should spend the remaining nine or ten months to take personal charge.”
Speaking about other sectors of the economy, Obi said: “You cannot talk about physical infrastructure unless you’ve dealt with human infrastructure and education is key.
“Today, we borrow money and borrow labour from China. What that shows is that you’ve not built your human infrastructure – and it’s like you’re not building your future. So, the President needs to take control immediately. And the issue of health, education and pulling people out of poverty are the most critical agenda for development and he should take control of it forthwith.”
