Several young ladies from the ages of 22 to 25 were recently employed by the state Governor of Edo state to drive luxury commercial buses in Edo state. This buses have been planned to ply the highways of the state in addition to other private owned commercial transports.

If this is true, then I will say kudos to the Governor.
In managing transport fleet, lots of human resources are required depending on the size of the fleet. However,Adams did well by giving these ladies opportunities to serve in a profession dominated by their male counterparts.
However, they really do not have to be the driver, they could be bus attendants.
Here or there, it is a welcome gesture.

I am glad that the Governor is now speaking against prostitution.Now he is creating alternative means for Benin girls to survive. This is a welcome development in Edo state.Unlike in the FCT where Abuja girls are driven from the streets in the name of Sharia FCT Ministers and no alternative means of survival are being created to enable this prostitutes and other hawkers survive.

Nice move by the governor, if you have ever travelled on Mega bus from baltimore to new york, You would see that majority of the bus drivers are women, and they drive very sleek and carefully too! Kudos to Governor Adams Oshiomole!

What a man can do, a woman can equally do but not necessarily better. I just hope those huge buses does not make the heads of those girls bigger than their body.

I think this is a good one, particularly if they are drivers,Edo have beaten Lagos in this regard, i believe they will be better drivers in of being careful, on issue of harrassment i believe there will be none because the operation will be similar to that of lagos BRT, good INNOVATION!
