British Artillery Regiments still don't have the K9 SPGs that India has already inducted (produced locally in India)

What about drone defences? Do they have anything comparable to India's D4 or the upgraded L70? Forget the Sudarshan CIWS and Bhargavastra of India.

There are only three things where the British have a clear advantage in of their technology: Nuclear Submarines (quiter than Indian ones), Stealth Fighters (Indian one still decade away from service) and the APFSDS ammo of their tanks (650mm RHAe penetration compared to >520 mm RHAe penetration at 2km distance).



Then there are technologies that India has that British military simply does not have: Anti-Satellite missiles like India's PDV Mk2 that shot down a satellite in 2019, Two tier Ballistic Missile interception system like India's AAD and PDV missiles that are designed to shoot down Pakistani Nuclear missiles. Supersonic Cruise missiles like India's BrahMos, Hypersonic glide Missiles like India's LRAShM, etc. What about something comparable to India's Surya Radars and Multistatic radars that can penetrate stealth technology (because they are VHF band)?



Royal Air Force had Jaguar fighter jets, which they replaced by the Tornado fighter jet and then replaced them with the Eurofighter Typhoons. India meanwhile still has the Jaguars in service. Now the funny thing is, the Indian Jaguars got their AESA radars upgrade before the RAF Typhoons. So, India is no pushover when it comes to military tech. Even the old stuff we have is highly upgraded. The tanks we use, though old T-72 and T-90, have Thermal and Night Vision Fusion technology in them, installed in a recent upgrade. Ask the Brits if their tanks have that. The answer is no.

Finally, a brief mention of numbers. British Army can field one or two Divisions worth of combat formations in a war within the first week. Indian Army can field 45 Divisions on day 1 of the war. No tech gap can overcome these odds, and like I just established, there isn't much of a tech gap between India and UK. Go to the British Forces News youtuve channel. I used to comment there about these India vs British stuff in great detail there. Look for the videos on Destroyers, I writing a deep piece on that in the comments section there. Indian destroyers are much more capable.

In many local areas in Nigeria, you mean Lagos and ABJ ? And even in Lagos, it is still terrible, they aren't equipped. The clinic in Aso Rock is a mess.
What's worse is that what carried me to India the first time was health care in 2005 (our healthcare was better then), I was in EKO hospital for 3 months, doctors doing trial and error on me in the ICU. until I left for India and I spent just 2 days in the ICU, and was discharged on the 4th day.
Healthcare is not something any Nigerian should be comparing with any country, or is it the doctors that can strike at any time?

I'm an Indian from India. I don't get what this entire thread is about. India's per capita GDP is $2880 while Nigeria's is $1621 So no wonder some places in Nigeria look a good as some places in India.

Add to it the corruption in the Municipal Corporations in India and the fact that we have millions of immigrants flooding into Delhi every year and its no wonder that the city's infrastructure can't always keep pace.

Keep in mind, this city has almost as much GDP as entire Nigeria. So the comparison is a bit off....


Reason India is hyped up is because it is the fastest growing major economy on the planet, just overtook Japan this year, will overtake next year.

And the other reason India is hyped up is because of Indian technology. A small example of the same, look at how 5G rollout in India was much faster and more widespread than even Europe. And then go read about how India is among the top nations that are doing R & D and owning intellectual property in 6G technologies like THz communications. Or look at Indian advancements in Supercomputing, Quantum Key Encryption, Hyperspectral Imaging, deep sea mining, etc. Indian firms are getting contracts from US military these days, like Pixxel aerospace that got contract for Hyperspectral imaging payloads that Pixxel made with Indian technology.
