I in the late 90s and early 2000s how instrumental this particular iron was to virtually all Nigerian households.

One thing I liked about it was how sweet and friendly it was in my hand when ironing my clothes and how it regulates itself. Its fun using this iron.
I don't know if we still have it in today's market.

Yes am a living witness. There's one that was bought 3 years before I was born the pressing itin is still working till date and am over 37.

I still have one that is almost 20 years old, still clean and still working very well like new!

Just make sure its PHILIPS and NOT Chinese PHILLIP! one na original the other one na fake.

Why being quick to see someone's experience as lies. Any damages electronic gadget can shock of wires get exposed to metallic parts. Ours later got to shock on some points on the cable that had been twisted too many times till the external protective covering wore off and partially exposed wires.

I still being shocked by an iron in the 80s (at a friends house) and I suspect it was this same Philips. The childhood friend tricked me into touching a plugged damaged iron.
