It's nice to have this .., but more important than building is maintenance. Maintenance seems to be rocket science. Lagos Stadium ... open stadium... easier to maintain ... more personnel available ...how did that fall from grace? What measures will be put in place to ensure this one is well maintained? ...regardless of party in power? ...and what will be the maintenance price tag? Would it be viable? ...or just another white elephant? Did they really consider the pros and cons? ... or this simply popped up in somebody's head? Maintenance is key.

O2 is definitely an inspiration for this arena as it has hosted and boosted the profile of many Afro beats performer from across Africa for over a decade now.

Hosting similar in African and specifically Nigeria, the undisputed home of Afro beats, is a major coup for our nation.

This Arenas will be modern, functional and optimally transport-linked as the 02 is.

The only major difference is that the capacity of this Arena will be 12,000 while the capacity of the O2 Arena is 20,000.

I hope Sanwo Olu sort the consent of Obingo before embarking on this project else he rushes to his social media handle to complain how money is wasted on elitist ventures while many wallow in pervasive depravity and penury.

Anything Lagos is as good as delivered 100%. You can go to sleep knowing 'Detty December' entertainment HQ in Nigeria will be this Arena in December 2027.

Every state is copying Anambra state, even Lagos the land for all Naija. Lagos should be a pacesetter because it is a former capital of Nigetus built with our Naija Delta oil money.

Which kind uneducated narration is this one na? The level and quality of education in Nigeria keeps going down, listening to this lady is like walking on broken bottles! It is a painful ordeal! You listen to youth from other English speaking nations and its almost a delight.......our youth need to start listening to themselves speak...know what your oral delivery is like to a listener ...and then make listening to the radio especially radio Nigeria news broadcasts a habit ....so tht you learn how to SPEAK ENGLISH !

Lagos is looking to build massively on it's tourism, hospitality and entertainment potentials based on the huge success of the last 'Detty December" that has opened eyes to the potential income Lagos can generate from those sectors.

Lagos Arena was inspired by the success of the O2 Arena in London. Nothing to do with Anambra. I wish Anambra well though as Soludo is doing well in my opinion.
