Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has assured that he will remain focused on his mission to move the State forward.

Reacting to a trending video making the rounds on the social media, Governor Eno expressed dismay that people could resurrect the video of an incident that occurred last year immediately after his wife’s demise to score political gains.

The Governor who spoke on the flanks of the birthday celebration of a former deputy governor of the State, Obong Nsima Ekere in Uyo, said, we are in political times and so you can expect more of that.

“My family is intact and you can see all of them.

“The event you are talking about took place immediately my wife died last year, so why is it surfacing now on the eve of our second anniversary when we are celebrating the milestone we have achieved?

“That teaches me that there are detractors around. My family is intact, that’s Jane herself there. We are a good family.

“The pressure on the kids when they lose a love one, could be traumatic and we must know that.

“What I can only appeal to everyone is that they should not bring back the sad memory.

“Allow my wife’s peaceful soul to rest in peace. I can’t be distracted, I remain focused.

“I will continue to serve Akwa Ibom people. I don’t wish what happened to me to happen to anyone else.

“People throwing this thing around, if that is what they wish for themselves, I wish them good luck. My family is intact. Even in politics the family should be off limit”, the Governor added.

He used the occasion to congratulate Obong Ekere on his 60th birthday and commended him for his meritorious contributions to the State and the country.

The loss of a dear mother is really traumatic for any child, even as a man there was a day I had a quarrel with someone and she said said it's like your mother didn't train you well, it was a period I was still mourning my late mum.
I just quickly left the scene and went to a corner and cried bitterly, that person didn't know the hurt that the careless statement had on me.
People should be considerate when spreading stale old news and presenting it as 'breaking news' that just happened today

He said his family was intact. But no one asked him that. It was a clean deflection, textbook evasion. He never actually denied the core accusation.

Now, here’s the kicker:

There’s a YouTube clip making rounds. In it, an aide of Senator Godswill Akpabio is openly congratulating Governor Umo Eno on the death of his wife.

Congratulating, not condoling.

Think about that for a second. Who congratulates someone on a spouse’s death, unless the event was known ahead of time, expected, or possibly…... orchestrated?

Then comes the daughter’s cry from within the storm. She’s saying clearly:

“I will not be a sacrifice like my mother or my brother.”

Who talks like that, unless they’ve seen too much, felt too much, or survived too much?

And she talks about her brother, when no one even publicly acknowledged that loss?

The silences speak louder than the statements.

It’s starting to look less like coincidence and more like a carefully hidden pattern.

A pattern of rot, grief, power, and silence.

But let this be known:

The stupid and foolish Reverend in Benue State is like that too.

All these so-called pastors are worse set of people when given power.
From that one in benue to this one, there is something about this man that looks odd/off.
