This a formidable team. Anyway, they can't beat Tinubu. Tinubu is campaigning based on results and not mouth. The economy is clearly picking up. Allen avenue had changed dramatically over the last one year. I could barely recognize the place. Even my former street at Alausa has transformed remarkably. The removal of the fuel subsidy and the flotation of the Naira has filled the coffers of state governments with a lot of cash and they are very grateful. The coastal road and the forest guards are what he would primarily use to win lots of votes. The forest guards would go after the herders and bandits who have made life unbearable for both Northerners and Southerners alike. This would bring him lots of votes especially in the North where banditry is endemic. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

DeLaRue: I can see you are a novice in political matters. Tinubu lost Aliimosho, the largest single voting block in Lagos to PETER OBI because of the absence of aregbesola in tinubu's game plan. Go and ask your teachers about aregbesola don't just type out of tribal bigotry 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Justnation:He is a transactional leader, even in the election, you should notice how those who campaigned for him said he helped them in their personal life to do this and that. Those help were not without conditions. They made me chuckle because instead of the state working, they are happy with connections and that is what Nigeria is facing today. The people will get weaker and they will beg for favors. Nigerians should have learned from the Obasa saga to know how this man thinks. It is not in your best interest to have weak and disloyal people at the top. He rewards loyalty so if those who have been with him so long desert him, that can be dangerous. A name you did not mention is Fashola. 1 Like |

Among those regional leaders, it is only Peter Obi that can deliver and may deliver south east. Aregbesola is a paper weight now in his osun and Lagos while he doesn't exist on the remaining south west states. Talk about being with Tinubu before, himself knows better. David Mark I think may also perform especially in plateau, Benue, kogi axis. Nasarawa, Niger state is a no for him, he knows that, then, Kwara, I can't say. El-rufai in his own case will at least do a bit only if person like Sule Lamido, sanusi Lamido etc are in his camp. Rotimi Amaechi, that one is figure head, nothing any thing he gets is on Peter Obi influence. Then, Atiku, the easy ally is Ali Ndume, Babachir Lawal and some other light weight folks to slug it out with Nuhu Ribadu, Kashim Shettima, so, I can't predict where that can flip anyway, Anyway, fingers crossed. 1 Like |

He was there for Tinubu during his exile days. But, Aregbesola wants to balkanize Tinubu empire. That's a tall order for him. So, he can't perform well in the coalition 1 Like |

Justnation: Ameachi is politically irrelevant in SS, as long as Wike and oshiomole are there, who be ameachi? Aregbesola is big joke. Atiku should step down and allow obi get the ticket while he deputise him or another northerner 1 Like |

Justnation: First of all there is no source for this so it is likely fake! Secondly, apart from Obi, the people on that list have little or no influence in their zones. As for Atiku, most of his northern votes are PDP votes not his votes. If any thing Peter Obi is the one with the most votes on that list followed by Atiku, the rest are of no consequence! Finally like I said it is very likely fake. 1 Like |

I am just an observer, however they want to fight their hands of thrones, it's their headache but never say never, empires eventually fall and the ant inside the hill is more dangerous than the ones outside. The ant who was once in the hill can also be dangerous. 1 Like |

LordBiden: Let Atiku keep trying o, I wish him all the best. But I doubt if he can win in 2027... Younger northerners no go gree for Atiku by 2031. Atiku wld have been the president if the north had allowed Jonathan to do second term. |
zoghys: 8:24pm On May 27 |
LordBiden: Atiku is no Abraham. He's just a corrupt former vice president who wants to make a name for himself by been the president. |
Mrexcell(m): 9:28pm On May 27 |
DeLaRue: With the way nigeria is fraudulently politically structured in favour of the north there's absolutely no way any southern politician can become nigeria's president without strong alliance from the north. |
