In the day of Pentecost, the disciples spoke in tongues. But they spoke known languages. They were speaking different languages that can be interpreted by others who understood those languages. So the languages are not newly manufactured.

Ask your pastor which country or tribe speak that language that he is speaking. Ask if there are other people who can interpret it apart from he himself

If speaking in tongues uplifts you and doesn’t harm or deceive anyone, by all means, keep at it.
If jumping and dancing in prayer brings you peace and progress — and no one is hurt or misled — please continue.
Do what works for you, as long as no one is harmed, scammed, or left wounded by your practice.

WHAT YOUR PASTORS WON'T TELL YOU ABOUT SPEAKING IN TONGUE

Acts 2:1-4 (NIV)
"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Let's get into more details.

Acts 2:6-11 (NIV)
"When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: 'Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?

Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!'"

This clearly indicates that the "tongues" spoken on the Day of Pentecost were actual, recognizable human languages, miraculously understood by the foreign-speaking individuals present.

So when you hear your pastor saying shabahbahbah! just know it's lies. 99.9% of the time they are trying to fool you.

If no one around there can understand what they are saying or have ever testified to understand what they are saying, then it's a lie. The are simply faking it.

I'm not a deeper life or Jehovah witness member but I know this. It's just common sense.

All the answers you need is in the Bible, let no man fool you. I come in peace.

Have you asked yourself if that's the will of God when it comes to worshipping God?

This is the truth. Common sense. I think the problem with Nigerian believers esp. is that they don't read to understand the full chapter. Just pick a verse and make a note of it and they're fine. That's the reason why lots of people don't get this point till today. My two cents.

Yeah. Another thing people don't realize is that, the establishment of the school of tongues by some church pastors is enough reason and evidence to know it's all shades of wrong.

I mean why would you go learning something the holy Spirit bestowed on the disciples of Christ?

This is a topic that itches to the 3 layer of the skin and if you want to know how tolerant or aggressive that man of God you respect so much is, bring up this topic. wink

Exactly! Pastor Kumuyi is a very wise Man, he saying here again what he said in 2020 to the Church! He is actually warning and waking up the Pentecostal Church Worldwide to Stop being Fearful, to be Powerful/Courageous to stand up against the bGates of Hell that once again is about to launch another Hijacking of Human Bodies (Temples of GOD) worldwide. Revelation 18:23 Says the Devil shall Deceive all Nations to receive it though pharmakia(sorcery), yet many Pastors and Christians are pretending like they don't know that it already began.
President Donald Trump's Invitation and Recognition of the Great Pastor Kumuyi proves that the Eyes of Heaven and eyes the whole World is on Deeper Life Church, as a rare Cynosure that Heaven has helped to maintain importance of Holiness in this hopelessly Lust inebriated End Time World. Just as GOD would Not have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah if HE found unlustful Church and Souls, genuine Born Again Deeper Life People in various Countries of this World are what Heaven still sees and still Restrains Pouring out HIS unprecedented Anger upon this increasingly Lustful Wicked World. You and I better daily Thank CREATOR of Heaven and Earth for Deeper Life Church! HalleAHAYAH ASHAR AHAYAH!!!!!!!

If you've ever read the bible, you'll know it is not quite so.

I disagree as there would not exist over 45,000 different denominations/interpretations/,cults in that one religion alone of they were all the differences were just a matter of labels. grin
