I'm a doctor but I tell you the CMD of the hospital and all those that participated in the surgery should be arrested ASAP. That's the highest level of of irresponsibility if the allegation is true.

Now don't say things that will put you in trouble o. Do you have evidence to back up claim that the index hospital received "massively "from government and philanthropists?

I have met with a hospital manager 2 months ago to make certain enquires and when she showed me their income and expenditure, I knew there will always be problems. The money the hospital spends is more than what is coming in. How can they deliver proper healthcare?

They will never show you their true revenue book.

Health facility managers are known for always cooking the books.

If government no provide money for fuel nko?

But beside the cursed government we have, our people are also evildoers, someone might just have diverted the money that government provided for fuel, or even taken the fuel home to power his house.

Thirty-five minutes into my wife’s operation, NEPA took the light, and..." - A man loses his wife after a power outage and fuel shortage delay her surgery at Jummai Babangida Aliyu General Hospital.

Nigerian doctors kill government hospital in Nigeria. Government would provide the necessary equipment required in a hospital. Nigerian doctors open private clinics in the area and direct patients to their private clinics, use government equipment to do diagnosis. They collect treatment fees from the patients. Before long, the government hospital dies.
This is an offence punishable with long years of imprisonment in the Westen world.

Are you sure this man didn't vote for this government?

Because the mismanagement in every hospital can be traced to the mismanagement of the country where the incompetence oozing from to top is ing through the health ministry to each hospital.

Total corruption kills.

Vote right, and they fought us, not knowing that lives may depend on their wrong of bad people.
Emeka you will still criticize the government as usual. If you can't pregnant your wife, is the government fault too.

The hospital likely took a deposit from the couple before starting operation. If they didn't fuel the generator, they killed the woman.

Definitely just only #5000 fuel would have saved the life of the woman.

Who relies on NEPA for stable electricity?

Those of us who have faith in Fashola, Buhari, Tinubu and APC’s integrity. We are the ones who rely on NEPA for stable, uninterrupted 24/7 electricity supply.

Please us grin

1United1:
State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has said the only way the country can have stable electricity is to vote out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in next year’s general election.

Fashola, who gave the counsel while marking his 2,600 days in office at an elaborate ceremony held at the Blue Roof of the Lagos Television premises, said electricity crisis in the country is caused by lack of ideas and insincerity of purpose on the part of Federal Government.

He said,” Yes I agree with you that it is possible to generate electricity and to make sure that everybody in this country has electricity, we have to do the right thing. But you know what, the only way that you and I will have electricity in this country will be to vote out the PDP.

This is absolutely heartbreaking.
Losing a loved one due to preventable circumstances is devastating. The hospital's lack of preparedness is inexcusable.

Too many lives has been lost due to negligence?

As some people will say "May Nigeria never happen to us". 🙏 My condolences to the family.

There have been cases Nigeria where midway in operation there was power outage and the operation went on with touch lights and phone touch though extremely bad . But that's why it's Nigeria. Why will generator going off make them unable to continue operation. They would have tried to use touch light at least.
This is the country the government said people abroad are running back to Cox of better life . I laugh

I do not think this was a case of being unable to proceed with the operation due to darkness in the operation room. Probably an equipment or device that needed electrical power.

Indeed you are right about elections having consequences.

10 years of APC change that has revealed itself as shege scamdemic propaganda should clear up any doubt about your statement.

msmon:
The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday unfolded its power agenda should it presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, be elected.

The party plans to generate at least 20,000 megawatts (mw) of electricity in four years to sur Nigeria’s consumption level of around 15, 000mw.

In a statement, the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO) expressed dismay that the Federal Government under President Goodluck Jonathan had only added 1.400mw to the national grid in four years.
