My bad. Not even 6, it was actually 5.

4 strategic bombers and 1 AWAC.
Keep consoling yourself. That is the figure from Irkutsk alone. There are still three more bases we are waiting for. And that is still not taking about yesterday late night news. Lipetsk also came under attack.

This is not about me thinking am wiser, how many other nations bombers do you see parked around like cars?

Nothing changes in the negotiations

In Kyiv, of course, they think that after yesterday they will say today: "If you don't agree to our ultimatum, drones will fly at the nuclear power plant tomorrow." And we will raise our paws.

But, thank God, Medinsky himself raised the bar at the last meeting, below which we will not go.

And he made it clear: war is separate, negotiations are separate. Attacks on airfields are a component of war, a parallel process that will not affect our demands.

The attack on the enger train is a terrorist act, which only Rubio noticed yesterday among Western politicians.

What do you think about yesterday's Ukrainian attacks on Russia's strategic bombers??
We are having the first confirmations from Belaya. Did I not tell you that the five you stated were only from Irkutsk?

📸 First satellite images from Russia’s Belaya airbase confirm the destruction of several strategic bombers following an SBU strike, according to analyst @CSBiggers.

Visible damage includes:
– 3 Tu-95MS bombers destroyed
– 1 Tu-95MS bomber possibly damaged
– 4 Tu-22M3 bombers destroyed

Hitler invaded the USSR with 3 million troops, 600 thousand vehicles and was still defeatedAt the start of 2022, the Ukrainian military had 196,600 active-duty personnel, which, according to the 3:1 force ratio rule, would have required an invasion of 590,000 Russian personnel. Instead, the Russians planned an invasion with 190,000 personnel, actually smaller than the combined Ukrainian armed forces.

What this information tells is that Russia actually never planned a full invasion but rather a strategic attack. The Russians themselves have a listed their objectives which never included taking over and governing the entire Ukraine but Western politicians and media manufactured the narrative if Kiev in 3 days. From the beginning, Russia's assumption was that the Ukrainian regime was scared and would negotiate fast and planned the operation according to this assumption. This assumption is Russia's greatest error in the war.

What rubbish is this?? So all putin has done in Ukraine he has done with a soft hand?? Can you read what you wrote??

A putin that just last week carried the largest recorded bombardment of the capital keiv with drone and ballistics missiles, A Putin which has initiated the largest invasion in Europe not seen since the hay days of WW2, He has targeted Energy facilities, civilian facilities, schools, transport systems, and hospitals and his currently holding on to large hectares of Ukrainian land. Go check the civilians casualties incurred by Ukraine during the course of the war. Here, you are trying very hard to downplay Putin's war efforts in Ukraine, implying that he is showing restraints. Well I guess the Ukrainians who have been faced with constant attacks from Russia for over 3 years would sleep better knowing that Putin according to you has been dealing with them with a light hand.

One of your fellow Russian friends was even implying that Russia should declare war on Ukraine, like the one being fought for over 3 years is a movie.

Is it until he uses nukes before we can tag it "hard hand"? There are no cards, Putin can play per conventional warfare, All the modern weapons of Russia have all been used in battles in Ukraine. Take your L and move on, mate.

P.s Russia invaded Ukraine not the other way round, How did the country which was invaded suddenly become the aggressor.

Just like Kursk, this latest attack will not affect the outcome of the war except to prolong it and increase the destruction and human suffering in it. Kursk was eventually retaken with massive losses for Ukraine. All damaged aircraft will eventually be replaced but can Ukraine ever get back Crimea, Donetk nad Luhansk? Can Ukraine get back it's 400,000 missing soldiers including the 50k destroyed in Kursk?

Even for NATO, it is clear that America cannot wield power on the scale they once did as a new alliance is forming. It may take a long time, the West can delay it with their media narratives and spy games but the western decline is sure. That fact alone, gives me joy.

Mate what are you saying?? Go and read Soviet military doctrine, The Soviet Union and Russia have done it times and times again, Attack the capital, capture the main airport and used it has a staging point to bring in airborne troopers then capture the capital decapitate the government and then watch the opposition forces collapse without any form of structural leadership, and used that as a spring board to occupy the country.

They did in Czechoslovakia in 1968, They tried to do the same thing in Afghanistan in 1979 by taking over kabul airport and using it as a staging point bring in troops, remove the then Afghanistan leadership and then launching a full scale occupation of the country, How many troops did the Soviet Union use to start the Afghanistan invasion?? How many troops did the US used to start the invasion of iraq??.

We are not all slow here, anyone with any atom of reasoning knows the Russians planned to take hostmel airport, land in paratroopers, you don't want to take keiv yet you invaded from three positions, you don't want Kyiv yet you tried to encircled the city, the failed Kyiv invasion was one of the most televised conflict, don't patronised me, save your falsehoods for your Russian friends.

This have been verified by military analyst around the world, even captured Russian troops confirmed that the goal was to capture, Kyiv and remove the government of president Zelensky.

How many men have Russia used to far in the dombass?? 20k abi??.

Go back to pages on this thread after every calamitous Ukraine attack and it's some version of "sky is falling", "Russia is in trouble", "NATO has hidden cards".

For the umpteenth time, these are the very real costs of Putin's soft approach.
This is not the first hit, nor will it be the last.
Putin and the Russian establishment are resolute on sticking to this path.
For all of its drawbacks, it has been wildly successful.
Attacks of this nature are calibrated by the West to have the exact predictable effect you see on this thread.

Go over the facts of this War.
Ukraine is done.
No air force. No navy. No air defense. A depleted army. Infrastructure is under severe strain. Its backers are exhausted.
This is all they have up their sleeves. Incisive sabotage. That's it.

Moskva. Kursk. Dugina and other assassinations. Refineries and air bases attacked.
One constant remains.
Ukraine cannot take back lost territory.
This is the stage where Russia has to bob and weave to run down the clock.

The faux outrage and meltdown is comical.

-Lord

You're right . But on this particular sabotage we might get to see oreshnik in action again.

I lost my respect for Prussia. Putin military is rag rag no match for western armies. He is trying to win hearts and minds of Ukrainians.
He would have ended this war with Oreshniks. Give a 24 hour notice of intention to strike Kiev, then take out the airport and Zelensky official home. Repeat ttacks after one day.
Start warning everyone to leave Kiev to create panic.
Bro Russia has last more than 1.2m men in this war....Putin made a mistake from the beginning,he was so lenient with Ukrainians 😃

I've already lost count of how many times Putin has been played with fake negotiations while he gets a big slap in the face.

A part of his NUCLEAR capabilities have been blown up. There is no greater escalation than this.

Firing Oreshnik point blank at Ukraine just for show will only further expose his already deeply felt weakness.

Such attacks from inside Russia will now become everyday life. Ukraine and NATO are waging an all-in war against Russia.

They are blowing up civilian buildings, trains, generals, mayors, and now even nuclear assets on Russian territory. Putin is still playing some kind of "special military operation" by claiming that the Ukrainians were his brothers.

On the other hand, he refused to arm the Houthis, the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Syria to the teeth, and he ended up losing Syria and the entire Middle East.

Israel bombed Syria for years while Putin cultivated "friendship" with Israel and Turkey and refused to provide Assad with advanced weapons.

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar also felt his weakness and urgently signed massive agreements with the US and began distancing themselves from the BRICS.

Zelensky and his team have proven from their comfortably warm offices in Kiev that they want the war to continue as long as they are funded and armed.

Putin is currently waging "special military operation" with "stones" while his serious weapons are slumbering in warehouses that are being blown up one by one.

His alleged "friends" are massively selling weapons to Ukraine, including China, which until recently massively sold drones to Ukriane, similar to those that wiped out his bombers today.

Empty treats are no longer something Putin and his friends can afford.

Summed perfectly

So much emotional outburst from a lot of Russian ers here.

Each time Ukraine scores a hit, it is followed by curses on Putin and his alleged 'soft' approach towards Ukraine, and all that.

The reality is, this is war, and you don't expect Ukraine not to score some goals. I dare say this is good in that each goal Ukros scores gives Russia the opportunity to fix and develop counter and preventive measures.

Besides, the Ukrainian strike is like a scratch on Russia's aviator capability. Aside denting Russia's power image, it doesn't change anything on the battlefield. Rater, it exposes a glaring and noticeable weaknesses on the side of the NATO planners aiding Ukraine in that all standoff platforms and long distant capabilities, including the enemy's much vaunted ISR had failed miserably to significantly harm Russia that has, at every junction, developed effective counter measures against them. So. They have resorted to terrorist patterns, the best part of which took almost two years to plan and execute.

And it was well planned and executed perfectly. Give kudos to the Ukros.

Is the attack sufficient to trigger 18/19 of the Russian Nuclear Doctrine?

Yes, it does. But. I doubt if the Russians would resort to that because it's more like the last kick of a dying horse. However, it's enough to scuttle and effectively kill any peace talk or concessions from the side of the Russians, and enough to trigger deeper and overt strikes across entire Ukrainian chain of command, including the presidency.

Bravo zelensky. What a way to kill any hope for peace, invite more loss of territory and attract more death and devastation across Ukraine. Thanks to an attack that has zero effects on Russia's Frontline capabilities. It was a nice PR stunt that changes nothing on the Front Lines.

My prediction for today's negotiations

Ukraine will accept some but which one in particular will be kept from the public till a meeting with Putin and zelensky.. The reason is due to public reactions and threat of Trump withdrawal from the process and not to talk to retaliation from yesterday Train terrorist attack, they need to give putin something to hold him off. And likely they may agree on a pow exchange.

What's your prediction pro-russia?

Putin has captured 20% of Ukraine and will not give it back. In those territories he has rebuilt the Infrastructure damaged, reopened schools and life is going on normally. In a war there is always damage. Putin hasn't gone on to damage critical infrastructure in Ukraine. For instance ( Macron was snorting cocaine in a train trip to Kiev? ) that railway is still intact . Airports in Kiev are still intact.
