I usually notice that every major Ukrainian achievement in this war is usually timed with accompanying losses in other areas. This recent attack may be just timely to mask their heavy losses on the real front from the western audience so as to keep the myth alive. Russia has taken numerous settlements recently and is creating a buffer in Kharkiv and Sumy.

This war is more complex than meets the eye and I believe the global south will continue to see more reason why they should back Russia. The Western might is still huge but you don't play all your cards at once in a war of attrition.

These are strategic bombers, they are not meant to be deployed quickly like fighter jets, a mission prep using such bomber takes hours to do.

Strategic bombers can be parked on specially formed harden shelters, it has been done before, the reason why they were left in the open was because of Russia perceived reasoning that the Ukrainian forces do not possess the necessary weapons to target such airfield deep inside Russia

Which is very correct, the Ukrainians do not have such weapons with such range, hence the drones were smuggle into trucks close to the military bases before being activated.

If Russia was fighting a country whose military possess long range ballistic missiles, like the US and China, Those bombers wouldn't be parked in the way they were parked, they would hsve been spaced out. and a harden shelter would have been provided or some anti drone net.

Seriously I don't see why the noise. Sabotage is common during war but the most important thing is how it affects the outcome of the war.
You don't sneak behind enemy line just to score some cheap point, I have seen Ukraine do that again and again.

They are badly struggling to build new ones. It takes up to a decade to build to build a few working ones. Putting 40 out of service is no child play.
