In a bid to keep up with all activities and projects, Kwara State Ministry of Works and Transport has come up with a series called "Commissioner's diary".

The series is a brain child of the Honorable State Commissioner for Works, Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu.The series, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria, will showcase the Commissioner's visit to sites, onsite inspections, interaction with community and general assessment of the projects.

This is in line with Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's commitment to transparency and delivery of quality projects across the state.

This newspaper recalls that Engr. Rotimi recently won an award for the Excellence and Leadership by the Nigeria Society of Engineers in recognition of his excellent leadership role in promoting professionalism and sustainable development in Nigeria.

It is about 50-50. Kwara is not made up of Ilorin alone. You must factor in other towns like Offa, Omu-Aran, Ijagbo, Odo-ere, Oro, Osi, Oke-Onigbin, all Isin towns etc, which are predominantly populated by Christians.
