A trending video has emerged showing the moment some brave officers of ‘Operation Tura Takai Bango’ discovered and countered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), in Kafan Ruwa town.

However, the video showed an army officer believed an expert in this field scraping up sand with bare hands to unearth an IED reportedly buried by Boko Haram terrorists.

Alhough, no anti-explosive body armor was worn by the soldier. Information gathered revealed that he successfully removed the explosives without any casualty.

Sorry for being a doubting Thomas,,, but how I wan take know say this is not made up. Is there any Boko Haram logo on the so called IED? If enemies really planted that, more caution would be taken.

If na truth, more power to their elbows & more safety to them.

FTC again,,,,, for reference purpose

So he had to disregard safety measures just to disarm the IED??
Atimes, even the slightest mistake can cause irreparable damage
Anyways, God bless and protect all our gallant troops who put their lives on the line, out of their Patriotism and the will to serve God through humanity

this is madness.. this isnt a safety measure and is totally not advisable, plus we should be bothered as to why they dont have necessary gear up used for such task in a saner cline.

You can't see an American or European doing this without a whole truckload full of technology surrounding him. Nigerians are among the most resourceful set of people in the world. We can thrive successfully in situations no one else can thrive. If only we weren't so disunited and backward thinking, we would have ruled the world today.

But I guess it is not to be.
