Four people are feared dead, while many others were injured today, 28-09-2020 in Obosi, Idemmili North Council Area of Anambra State following a road accident involving a tipper loaded with sand, a commercial and a private vehicle.

The incident which happened after Obosi Police Station, off Onitsha-Owerri road, involved the tipper with registration number, JIT 168 XG, a commercial bus belonging to Izuchukwu, with registration number, ABN 430 YN, and a black Toyota Spider, with registration number, FST 122 DQ

While the dead were taken and deposited at a nearby mortuary, the injured were taken to Unity Hospital, Obosi for medical attention.

Narrating his , the driver of the ill-fated black Toyota Spider, who pleaded anonymity, thanked God for saving his life and his fellow occupants, and to ersby, Police and FRSC officials, for ing in rescue operation.

Mr. Obiora Chinonso, a trader at Mgbuka Obosi, who ed in rescue operation, attributed the incident to over speeding and break failure.

Meanwhile, men of the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corp helped in rescue operation and clearing of road for free flow of traffic.

That junction is terrible, if it is not accident, kidnappers or thieves will deal with you upon obosi police station is just nearby...

Even the policemen there are terrible because i had an experience with them last week after my car broke down there..
