My Ogas make una use this 5k (500billion budgeted) wey no reach to buy half bag of rice to provide us with 24hours electricity na to cut down the cost of running a business in Naija. We should become a production economy and not a consumption economy. The key to industrialization is POWER. That's why I Stand With Senator Samuel Anyanwu for a Better Imo too ![]() 25 Likes 1 Share |

The federal government will continue to use this scheme as a political gimmick to deceive the gullible. They are creating an avenue to siphon the funds (that's if it's available), what happened to transparency? This is a corrupt government we have ladies and gentlemen.

As an istration noted for its transparency, we intend to fully keep Nigerians posted on all financial expenditure in line with extant laws of the country. The vice president please as you make your transparency in all financial expenditures, I'll also like you to exercise transparency in the area of income too especially from those gotten from those who returned their so called ill-gotten wealth because as we've not known their amount, so we cannot know how it's been kept or expended On the 5000 Naira disbursements, no matter where or how a great management technique the receiver uses, it can never ever be able to ameliorate the suffering of these individuals.. You may argue that they still survive despite it but if you want to look for solutions, look for those that will go a long way and not this And BTW before the government should engage in this, they should ask themselves is it sustainable?? If it's not sustainable it shouldn't be embarked on no matter what 1 Like |

Use that money to build something concrete. 5k is barely enough for transport these days. It's not as if the ones it was intended for will benefit anyways. 3 Likes |

Hmmmmm, capacity building, upgrade and improvement in science and technology, political sincerity and willingness to improve the economy by political and economic actors are some of the things that can bring development and economic growth in this country, not wasting scarce and limited resources on unproductive policies!!!

How you stupid Nigerians think you are intelligent beats me. Cocky arrogance built on nothing. Industrialisation, power generation, economic diversification, economic recession, globalisation and all these big big that you pathetic idiots throw around is not for you Nigerians, you are a stupid people, you are dead, the living dead. Stop behaving like players, you are not players, you are fools! Stop giving advice to the government on how to govern Nigeria, how do you govern a lawless and stupid people? I suggest that the name Nigeria should be changed to Animalia! Because Nigeria is a country peopled my animals and led by stronger animals. You do not have the intellectual capacity for anything progress or greatness, when will you dolts realise this? Animals! 3 Likes |

Few people will be organised and with few lucky almajiris will get the 5k. On that day, APC camera monkeys will be all over it to feed our eyes. More mouth will be given to the zombies online, and more heart attack to the waillers. Behind, 50Billion will be shared. Lai Mohammed will conclude on NTA that the campaign promises has all been fulfilled.

This Government is just chasing shadow. That money should be used for a gainful venture thereby creating job opportunities. The proceeds should be reinvested. Gradually, a greater population of the masses shall be reached with a better pay. What people don't sweat to achieve is seldom valued and most of the times mismanaged.

Na so.....scammers! So how then do they plane on collecting the data on the number of poorest people? Also does this mean that they are still going to delay on their 5000 naira promise since nothing has been done so far to gather information about these people or is it in 2020 that they will finally get around to fulfilling this promise. 2 Likes |

500 BILLION NAIRA. will this money be spent every month or every year on this waste basket project ? was there nothing else to spend 500 BILLION NAIRA on? 500 BILLION NAIRA would have easily cleared all the workers' arrears being owed but this matter is being swept under the carpet. imagine what 500 BILLION NAIRA would do to all the general Hospitals in Nigeria. imagine how many schools can be renovated with 500 BILLION NAIRA. but here we are... spending 500 BILLION NAIRA as pocket money Minimum wage right now is 18,000 naira. and you want to pay 5,000 naira. How long will these NEWLY EMPLOYED people manage the 5K before they all start to fight for minimum wage. ? ![]() 1 Like |
