I want him to secure that all time Naija top goal scorer legacy soundly before he even hits 30. Osimhen still has much to achieve and much more he can become.

Osimhen is a winner. He will any side and instantly infect them with the winning mentality bug.

He still has an Afcon title in him. He has a top afcon goal scorer in him. He has another league title triumph in a Big 5 league in him (to add to the Serie A). He has 50+ NT goals before he retires in him. I know it because I will never forget how much I told him before the big fame came sweeping in as I expected. Everything I have told him have come to except two things.....

- Becoming Africa's first 100M player.
-Winning an Afcon title.

Every other thing has happened. I told him he could supplant Weah as Africa's mainman of Italian football and break his goals record. It happened. Now the 100M dream may not happen again but the other still has a chance of happening. That Afcon title... time will tell.

100M followers or market value or transfer fee?

Blacks are their own worst enemy..
Some of the things am reading as advice to Osimhen makes me want to vomit..
Most of you are so hot for the epl or big clubs that you would let your own lick their boot just for them to allow him play for them
Tufiakwa.
So if Chelsea or man u say they will pay him 100k una go advice an to kneel Down to collect it

And here is Simone Inzaghi saying bye for now to European football. 2 UCL finals in 3 seasons. Lost both. Won Serie A title.

Leaves Europe as coach with worst UCL final defeat.

Same Al Hilal are rumored to be after Osimhen and Theo Hernandez.

26M Euros per season... for a coach ooo. No be player sef.

Will Napoli and their fans ever forget Osihmen? No, nah, for me, I look at these players first, their personality and their personal impact, before considering the general worldview. These guys are, first of all, humans just like every other professional out there in any field of endeavour. Osihmen has truly suffered in his career, injuries and all, and this game is not forever, so let's always that. Like I said earlier, it's a game of chance both for the clubs and Osihmen himself. Despite Ighalo playing for Man U, has he ever been seen as one of Africa's finest? So it's relative, I think we are over analysing this issue, let the player decide, but he must not be maligned for whatever decision he makes for his future. He's proven it in different countries, he's a great player, and one of our very finest from our shores.
Osimhen is too young, too good to go to Saudi sha

No point replying yes men tbh

Trust me had it been oshimen accepted Chelsea offer last season with conditions for top bonuses like qualifying Chelsea for champions league to top it 10M annual wage.....by now that wage for him would've been reviewed and improved upon because surely he would've not just qualified Chelsea for champions league but make them compete for epl trophy and also win Chelsea the champions league

He would've been a house hold name now in the world of strikers and the most talked about in the EPL

Some of you think you love oshimen more than those of us wanting him to make a name for himself in best leagues in the world, compete and leave an endearing legacy that speaks and measure up with that of Sallah, Mane, Drogba, Eto etc in africa and the globe

Imagine he signed for Chelsea last season and pull up 30+ goals and assists this concluded season why won't Chelsea board approve his salary of 10M per annual? He will be the most talked about striker in Europe and to wade off rivals discussing an improved wage bill for him would be sacrosanct

why not take a pay cut in your office?

Give me a Job in World bank, IMF etc and see if I will not reject any paying Nigeria job for such offer even if the brittywood institutions pay less

You think everyone worship money and prioritise it over career growth

Tell Chelsea to go for him if they need a striker. It’s that simple instead of making assumptions

Since you put it that way, then take into consideration that Bruno worked his way up to earn such wages at Man Utd. He didnt become 2nd highest paid from day 1.

Bruno is 30. Osimhen is 26. Bruno has every reason now to go to saudi arabia both from a footballing and financial perspective. He is approaching his twilight years. Osimhen on the other hand is in his prime years. So Yes, they are not the same.

don’t forget that when Bruno moved from Sporting to ManUtd his wages more than doubled, he didn’t take a pay cut to United

True. Portugal is a lesser paying league than Serie A. So it is far easier to more than double the peanuts one earns in Portugal.

And they prefer to pay the £5M penalty fine to Man U for not activating the contract, which means they cannot sign Osimhen if he doesn't accept a pay cut..na wah for Chelsea oo

If I were Eric Chelle, l would've called locally based players in order to create a wider pool of players in case of injuries, etc, than these ones who apply their trade abroad.

For instance, Bafana-bafana is divided into 3 strings of teams with different coaches using the same formation so that whenever each player is called into the first string, he is fully aware of the expected game philosophy.
A-string is preparing for the World Cup qualifying games in the absence of Sundowns players because they are preparing for the clubs' world cup.
Coach Vela Khumalo announced his Bafana COSAFA squad on Friday afternoon, with some of the players who have been dropped by Hugo Broos preliminary squad for the international friendly games between Tanzania & Mozambique. Khumalo recently guided the SA Under-17 Men's National Team to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in QatarKaizer Chiefs coach takes charge of Bafana Bafana's COSAFA Cup team

Vela Khumalo - the Kaizer Chiefs reserve team coach - is in charge of the national team during the regional tournament.

The competition will be played between 4 & 15 June in Mangaung | Bloemfontein.

GROUP A: South Africa, Mozambique, Mauritius, Zimbabwe
GROUP B: Angola, Namibia, Malawi, Lesotho
GROUP C: Tanzania, Madagascar, Eswatini
GROUP D: Zambia, Comoros, Botswana

Matches will be broadcast on SABC and SuperSport and streamed live on FIFA+.

Coach Khumalo is assisted by Reneilwe Letsholonyane, who is an assistant coach of under 20 AFCON Champions 2025. Meanwhile, Coach Molefi Ntseki will serve as technical advisor to the Bafana COSAFA squad. Ntseki also helped the SA Men’s National Team qualify for the CHAN tournament finals in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August 2025.

Khumalo’s selection includes several players from Hugo Broos’s preliminary squad who didn’t make the cut for the June 2025 international friendly games against Tanzania and Mozambique. He also considered players likely to feature in the Bafana CHAN team.

This leakage and lineage of coaches and players of Bafana-bafana is one of the advanced development programs we've ever seen for continuity beyond the World Cup and AFCON tournament to be held in Morocco šŸ‡²šŸ‡¦.

It’s not as easy as you think
These guys risk their bones, health etc
What if he’s secretly battling injuries
Osimhen’s play style shows he risks his health to force goals, he plays with GRIT
Can you the frightening head injury he had years ago
What if he never got to play football again ?
Even though I don’t like the idea of Saudi yet, it would make him an underachiever based on his potential but at the end of the day it’s his life & body
Football can be very dangerous you know
Thank God Awoniyi was resuscitated from that coma

What ever pay cut Osimhen takes, he will have enough to sustain himself if he chooses to. More money is just for extra luxury, not comfort. Mane was paid low wages all through his Liverpool time but he still was able to do mega charity work for his community, let alone taking care of himself.

If Barcelona, Real Madrid or Liverpool comes with offer of $10m salary per year,I advise he take it and work his way up,but not the unambitious clubs.
30+ goals a season for two seasons with a league title and his salary will double,it's even the club that would want to increase his salary in order to keep him.

$45m is huge Money to anyone,so is $10m to a wise person who would make a wiser investment with it more than $45m in hands of one who does know what to with other than to spend it.

Osimhen has already made enough money more than he could have imagined at 26 and still making.

In Osimhen, we have a player to leave a legacy that can rival the likes Eto'o, Drogba and Weah's, he shouldn't throw that away without a fight.
