Policewoman: Granted them bail on dat d offence is not capitalYou are a fool! Did you read the article at all? Those who actually participated in the beating were charged for murder and were refused bail. These people who got bail were probably spectators. Should they get capital punishment for watching? Foolish illiterate policewoman. No wonder our police force is full of fools. 1 Like |

Thats the Law... Dont complain. If their offence is a bailable one, then the judge is right in granting them bail. Nigerians should learn to stop putting emotions ahead of common sense. Even Nairalands 'Policewoman' who is a 'LAW ENFORCEMENT' officer is questioning the judges decision. How about she goes and ask her fellow officers what powers they use in granting bail to suspects that they arrested. Only a Judge can grant bail, yet everyday Police officers grant bail inside the station with no surety of any form. Just pay and get released. Before we attack the judge, what we should first ask is what were the charges brought against those that were granted bail.. This is the law in pay here and I think the judge has his reason for granting them bail. I doubt that many of them would be able to meet the bail s though. 2 million Naira bond from 2 separat people (4 million is not beans to come by especially for inhabitants off ALUU community that I know). Nigerians should cool down... 12 Likes |
