you are mistaken here. We have the largest media and most covered country on the continent. There are also more newspapers sold in nigeria than anywhere on the continent. We are more aware of happenings in our society than other africans are of their society. To confirm that, just look at Nairaland and tell me which other african country's online forum is as vibrant and active with so many real issues being discussed. Look at the dailys, and all you see their are murder, rape armed robbery, kidnaping, terrorismetc. Yet you come here and say things are not reported.

But u are a talking complete nonsense when it comes to press freedom Nigeria is one of the worst on the continent compared to other less developed african countries. You people should stop talking nonsense and start looking at solving ur own issues before resorting to bashing other countries.


Here is the latest report on press freedom which clearly shows that SA is miles ahead of Nigeria on that front even Namibia beats both SA and Nigeria on press freedom which is actually a very bad indictment on both our respective nations. This report was releast by the UN in for the period 2012
